ALLOW WITHDRAWAL FOR CPF ON MEDICAL GROUNDS

I am a ex-Singapore Permanent Resident of S'pore. My age is 40 years old. My CPF funds can only be withdrawn when I have reach the age of 50 years old according to the CPF Act. Else withdrawal will be allow on medical grounds only.

I had applied for withdrawal of CPF on Medical Ground and was rejected recently.

I've consulted a Orthopedic Specialist at Mahkota Medical Centre in Melaka recently. Also had a MRI Scan done to check my condition. In getting the the result. I had applied to allow withdrawal of CPF Funds for further treatment. The condition I am in currently does not allow me to work for long hours daily. I have pain at the back of neck. The pain runs along from back to behind my ears and to the front of my right eye brow. The pain causes tension headaches and or migraine. The pain also runs along to my right hand to the back of my shoulder. My right hand does not function fully. Often without full strength. Sometimes my right trembles uncontrollably. Numbness and tingling always on my fingers. The last times the pain was searing until I feel I wanted to chop off my right hand. Numbness on my right leg and couple with on and off pain on the back around my kidney area.

This condition makes living really miserable. Sometimes, I would just fall asleep suddenly because of the headache. At other times a burst of uncontrollable anger. I wonder also whether I am losing my sanity. I am seeking help with this petition to allow withdrawal from my CPF Funds to seek medical treatment and have a better life. What's the use of the funds if I am no longer living to enjoy it as fruits of my labor.

The CPF Board had referred me to a GP at Poliklinik Liew in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan to do an assessment. Instead of reviewing the assessment from a Specialist. I am truly puzzled?
