Allowing drivers to turn right on red lights in New York City would minimize the amount of engine idling which leads to less pollution from car exhaust in the air.
Allowing drivers to turn right on red (after stopping) would also lessen the traffic in a lot of areas and lessen the road rage of drivers because they would not be in such a rush.
We, the undersigned, call on the New York City Department on Motor Vehicles to allow drivers to turn right on red traffic lights after stopping.
