Pitbulls are wrongly accused of being an aggressive breed. According to the American Kennel Club, pitbulls are people-oriented dogs that thrive when they are made part of the family and given a job to do.
They are also extremely intelligent and loving animals. Statistically, bully breeds are the most often euthanized dog in America and by Osage County having a ban on all dogs that resemble a pitbull they are just adding to the delusion that pitbulls need to be euthanized.
We, the undersigned, call on the people of Osage County to eliminate the ban on pitbulls and similar dogs and their owners.
