This issue has been resolved between me and Bruce Skinner. Thank you all for showing your support and your Greek Stoles will not get you turned away or be told to take them off.
For years stoles and cords have been allowed at graduation. Wearing our Greek Stoles is a tradition that allows us as students to show everyone we participated in organizations that for years have donated blood, food, and countless service hours in an effort to better our community. I feel that because of this commitment and dedication we all should be able to wear our Greek life stoles at graduation.
We, the undersigned, call on the commencement committee to allow students to wear Greek life stoles at graduation.
