This is a petition to allow the great citizens of Chickasha Oklahoma to be allowed to display fireworks in the City Limits. If this is allowed, we would propose certain stipulations in order to make it safe for all personnel involved.
In order for this to be safe for all, I believe there should be stipulations in order to make this work for all parties involved.
1. Permit fee would be instituted - Revenue generated for City, $25.00+
Must be purchased between June 1 and June 30th of that year
2. Only be allowed from 10am to 12am on Independence Day.
3. Only be allowed from dusk to 1am on New Years Eve through New Years Day.
4. Must be 18 or older to apply for the permit
5. Must have working water source to extinguish embers.
I also believe that during extreme drought year that we have some stipulations on whether or not to be allowed to do this.
