Since the demise of the "poop loop" two years ago, area dogs and their human friends have been lacking on a fun cross country and skate ski track on the westbank.
The snake river levy is a great resource for these activities but are flat and straight and are used by many walkers and joggers and can therefore become too congested for skiing.
Many resort skiers lament the loss of the loop as a great way to exercise both themselves and their dogs before taking runs at the resort.
Having this option could only increase use of the wonderful nordic track which will increase revenue from passes, as well as more people at the resort to spend time and money at other outlets.
We, the undersigned, respectfully call on the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to allow our canine friends and family members access to the nordic track, when under the supervision of a responsible parent or guardian.
We understand that all dogs will need to be well behaved, under control, cleaned up after, and are not allowed within national park boundaries or private property. They will also be subject to any rules and conditions put forth by JHMR.
