Target:
Roger Goodell, National Football League
Region:
United States of America

The New England Patriots recently signed WR Antonio Brown after being released by the Oakland Raiders. Due to the timing of his release and league roster rules, he is not eligible to play in the Patriots first regular season game, Sunday 9/8 at 8:20pm in Foxboro vs. his prior team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Allowing Antonio Brown to play Sunday night would not only greatly enhance the entertainment value of the game, but also the league.

At a time when marquee players are leaving the game due to injury, the window of opportunity to see players in the prime of their careers compete at a high level on a big stage is closing.

We, the fans of the NFL, urge you to make a one-time consideration in light of the extenuating circumstances surrounding his departure from Oakland and signing by New England for he good of the game.

By signing this petition, I affirm that I am requesting Roger Goodell, as Commissioner of the National Football League, to allow Antonio Brown to play against his former team (Pittsburgh Steelers) on Sunday 9/8 at 8:20pm as a member of the New England Patriots.
