Against Covid Isolation in the Gladstone Queensland Areas

The Government wants to transport person whom require to be Isolated from Major city areas and from Airports to an area in the Gladstone/ Calliope region. Many people in the area and people living in close proximity to the governments desired place for occupancy. Have voiced their outrage and concerns over this decision.
The chosen area is not able to be secured and monitored as well as a hotel, that has limited entry and exits. It's located in a rural area with no shops restaurants or amenities anywhere nearby.
The site chosen is an ex construction site housing complex.
We in the area don't believe it is safe.
Government has stated that it's the best way to keep the major cities from exposure and infection. Well we have had no cases in the area and this is bringing considerable concern for a huge region of far North Queenslanders.
There will be double and triple handling persons to the area, limited security protocols available, limited amenities, limited medical personnel and equipment and facilities if there is infection or a breakout.
The government needs to hear our concerns and allow the people that put them in the position of power have their input.
