People are increasingly getting energy, from 2000 and 2016 the has been a 9 percent increase in people with energy. There has been such a large increase, there is less than 1 billion people without energy, that is more than 6 billion people with energy. People with low income pay 10 percent of their income to energy, people with higher income pay 1.5 percent of their income. So we need to produce more energy, although non renewable energy sources produce 60 percent of green house gasses and is a main contributor to global warming. So we need renewable energy sources.
We the undersigned, to the legislative Australian government. In order for there to be change we need to change our energy sources. Australia must phase out coal and invest in renewable resources for majority or more in replace of the burning of coal. The petition demonstrates the value that the issue has to Australians and action needed. By signing the petition your sign will go to phasing out majority of non-renewable resources.
