Dear fellow St. Thomas University School of Law classmates. It has come to my attention that this year the faculty administration has decided out of the blue that our SBA President, Adrian Acosta, is not allowed to give a speech at graduation—according to Dean Garcia the reasoning provided is "they decided to shorten the ceremony this year."

For all past ceremonies the SBA President has always given a speech; accordingly, I feel that it is only fair that Adrian do so as well. He has been the voice of our student body for the past year, and has worked hard to ensure that our voices are heard, as well as that we have fun throughout the stressful process of studying.

So now I think it's time that we pay it forward and do the same! I would like to start this petition, so that our voices are heard! I ask that if you are in support please sign in solidarity.

We, the undersigned, call on St. Thomas University School of Law to allow the Student Body President, Adrian Acosta, to speak at the May 2016 Graduation commencement, in the spirit of maintaining tradition at our educational establishment.
