This petition is in response to the parking problems in the Collegelands Buildings.

There are 2 buildings in particular involved, the Bell Street Flats and Parsonage Square. Both buildings are owned by Ross and Liddell. As a resident of these flats I get annoyed every time I need to park my vehicle and there are no spaces available.

It is unjust that as a resident I have to pay parking fines for parking my vechile in my residential parking area, or when I receive disgruntled notes from other residents when we park in there spaces to avoid fines, or when a padlocked gate is locked to avoid my car leaving a car park.

Today my car was towed from the residential car park by Glasgow City Council and I am expected to pay £130 pounds to get my vehicle back.

This petition is in response to these problems faced everyday by the residents of these buildings. This petition wants Glasgow City Council to stop entering a private residential car park to issue unnecessary fines or towing vehicles away without warning.

This petition wants more spaces made available to the residents of the Collegelands Buildings. Over 40 car park spaces are empty everyday in the Strathclyde Postgraduate Halls.

This petition wants Ross and Liddell and Glasgow City Council to resolve the parking problems in the Collegelands buildings.

We, the undersigned, call on Ross and Liddell and Glasgow City Council to address the parking problems in the Collegelands Buildings.
