PUBLIC INPUT ON 2008 ENGINEERING & TRAFFIC SURVEY TO BE TAKEN ON APRIL 10
The City’s new 2008 Engineering & Traffic Survey has indicated the need to change speed limits on 10 street segments.
Public input on the changes will be taken at the City’s Transportation Commission meeting on Thursday, April 10, beginning at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers.

It doesn’t take too many times of entering the intersection of Mission Road and Pasadena Avenue for one to realize that more than a little bit of extra care is required. With only one stop sign positioned at the corner of Mission and Pasadena Ave. (going east on Mission) and the roads being angled in such a way that visibility is far from optimum, near accidents are the order of the day with, unfortunately, the occasional head on collision.
Please consider additional stop sign(s) in an effort to discourage speeding down Pasadena Avenue (which borders both an elementary school and a nursery school) and to make the Mission Road/Pasadena Avenue intersection safer for all users.
