This is a local "Grass Roots" movement to prevent dangerous, toxic, and cancer causing chemicals from being dumped into the Portage Lakes.
The intent of this petition is to eliminate all chemical dumping and yearly defoliation of naturally occuring plantlife in the Portage Lakes and prevent these dangerous toxins from entering the domestic drinking water supply, effecting family members, pets and destroying the Lake Ecosystem.
Alternative methods of clearing unwanted plant life in the Portage Lakes must be available and used.
