Well over 3000 men and women have died in the war on terror since 9/11/01. The last few years have seen the most police officers die in the line of duty since the 1980's.

The men and women who put on a uniform need to see our respect for the job they do and families need to see that we care when those loved ones are no longer here.

We need our priorities to be straight and the politicians to see where our priorities are.

As sad as any death may be, I would like to see news coverage of the deaths seen in the war on terror as we have seen on celebrities who have died.

Our men and women who serve over seas are shadowed with news coverage from celebrities who have passed. I would like to see a minimum of a 2 minute coverage on soldiers who have served this country and have died in the line of duty. This should be daily in the media's news coverage and should pay respect to their families.

I would like to see how the impact of the death of a soldier has impacted their families and how they were able to overcome this tragedy. Perhaps this would make watching the news more important than watching celebrities with their struggle. I believe we owe it to our soldiers and their families to see their real struggle and how a Great American Family struggle through a tragedy like this and not a struggle from a rich celebrity.

We need priorities!
