I am petitioning to have properties seized when 3 drug related calls of service by local law enforcement have been made to the same address.
I live next door to a known drug house. There have been approximately 12 drug overdoses at this one property. Plus numerous drug related activities. Initially the occupant was a renter buying the property on Land Contract. The owner of the property refused to evict because she was not legally liable for the activities going on. The occupant is now the owner of the property. They are protected against any drug related charges under Ohio House Bill 10 when they overdose. And current drug possession charges carry very little jail time.
The Montgomery County Prosecutor office feels they do not have enough evidence to file for any type of injunction to temporarily close down the house.
After 2 years of saying something when I seen something, 2 felony drug arrest of 2 different vehicles that frequented this property(one of which also had a loaded gun), sleepless nights,& damage to my property- I am told nothing can be done.

We, the undersigned, call on the Lawmakers of the U.S. to create a 3 strike rule concerning properties where drug activity is present. After 3 calls of service by law enforcement to the same property for drug related activity the property is seized. By holding someone accountable and removing the properties that becomes a breeding ground for drug related activity we, the undersigned, believe a drastic decline in this activity will happen.
