Since it is generally agreed that most of the governing problems attributed to our President and Congressional Leaders is the challenge to get re-elected, both financially and politically, why not attack the problem head-on with some "out of the box 'thinking. Let's give them the opportunity to be all they can be, by having each of them serve only one term, with the following amendment to the constitution.
Special interests will become a foot The precedent is clear with the Roosevelt Amendment limiting the the President to two terms. We could call this one "freedom to vote your conscious" amendment.

In order to provide for a more effective term of service, and provide for less intrusion by special interests, in their representation of the people by their elected President and Members of Congress, it is hereby agreed that the term of each of the following offices be limited in the following manner:
1.The President shall serve one continuous six year term;
2.House Member serve one continuous four year term only;
3.Senate members shall serve one six year term only.
All other terms and condition relative to length of service shall remain the same.
