The missing person case of Heather Riggio has gone cold and no leads have been uncovered that the family has been made aware of since her disappearance.
Heather has been missing since May 6th, 2007.
Heather Riggio's family feels that the case could be eventually solved if the FBI would intervene jointly with the local agency assigned to her case, being North Miami Police.
If FBI will not intervene the family requests that her case be assigned to another detective as they strongly feel that her case is not being investigated to the best of the current detective's ability.

We the undersigned request that the Florida FBI intervene in her case. We feel that the law enforcement at the local level, being North Miami Police ( Florida) can't and have not worked this case to the level needed to find Heather Riggio who has been missing since May 06, 2007.
We feel that the FBI will work her case in a manner that will uncover answers to her disappearance and give her family the justice that they have been seeking since her disappearance.
If FBI will not intervene the family requests that her case be assigned to another detective as they strongly feel that her case is not being investigated to the best of the current detective's ability.
