When a disABLED STUDENT arrives at SAC, they should be able to get unloaded/loaded from a vehicle without having to get themselves, or their medical equipment, wet. It is hard enough sometimes as it is. A designated area with an overhead cover is needed at the Disabled Services Center. It should be outlined as such and include passage to the disABLED Student Services door.
We, the undersigned, students and faculty of SAC, call on the Board and President of our school to find a means to install an overhead cover for the loading and unloading of disABLED students.
