Closing one school to help the school district's deficit is just a band-aide. Sending students to a different school every year to two years will be hard on the children. The school district will still be in financial straits.
Also, closing one school will not help the sale of houses in this area.
We the Concerned Citizens of Garden City are trying to stop the school board enacting the "Reconfiguration Program"
Save a school that is to be closed and re-purposed at a later date.
