With the winter season coming, not only are we going to be waiting outside for periods of time in the freezing cold waiting for our bus, we waste countless hours a week waiting, when we could be doing something more productive.
If we wait an average of 30 minutes a day for our bus, that is 2 and 1/2 hours a week. That is 10 hours a month, imagine how many hours a school year, just waiting around for our bus to come and pick us up. We are the only school in Orillia that has to share a bus with elementary students, and its not fair that we have to wait for them to get out of school, to load the busses and then come and get us.
The issue of Notre Dame school time changes has also effected our pick up time in the morning. We are in high school, we deserve to be treated like high school students.
It is not fair for us, Patrick Fogarty students, to have to wait up to 30 minutes for our bus to come to pick us up after school.
