Save Iona Football

The Iona College Football Program is in jeopardy of being disbanded. Iona College is located in New Rochelle New York and offers Division1 and 1AA Sports. It was announced through the school newspaper "The Ionian" that the Football Program is being considered to be eliminated. Iona College will lose a vital athletic program.
The football program is a non-scholarship program. The college is considering disbanding so that other sports can be made more competitive. This will displace 100 young men that play football at Iona College.
We are playing as an independent since the MAAC Conference was dissolved.
Iona Football is a vital program for Iona College. This program and its traditions should not be abolished. Details of the campaign can be seen here.
