The Reston Citizens Association is continuing its efforts to incorporate Reston as a town. A petition being circulated by the organization asks the Virginia legislature to authorize a referendum vote on incorporation at the next legislative session in January 2008.

The petitions will be available for residents to sign at the Lake Anne Reston Farmer's Market every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and will also be available July 7-8 at the Reston Festival at Reston Town Center.

Those interested can also do a search for "RCA Reston" at www.gopetition.com for an online version. Anyone interested in circulating their own petition can download one at go-resTOWN.org/governance/petition.htm.
