Imagine someone coming up and spitting in your face and not knowing if that person carried diseases such as HepB, HepC or HIV. Then the 6 month wait and numerous blood tests to confirm you haven't caught such disease.
Police are here to protect our community, and criminals think they can do what they want and the magistrates hand down soft sentences.
We are serious about Our Right to Feel Safe in Queensland and we are calling on you to take action.
We feel less safe because criminal behaviour is not sufficiently punished in Queensland.

Road safety is a shared responsibility and all Victorians can contribute to safer roads and safer driving behaviour. I saw a picture of someone’s pet animal that they have killed and I was distraught. Many animals and pets are getting killed every year for either food or just for fun.
I hear people talking about wanting to hurt their own pets and wildlife that don't need to be disturbed. We don't think they should get away with this any longer. In America they can arrest them if they see any thing wrong with the animal. In Australia the animals just get taken away. How is that stopping people from hurting these poor animals?
The owners/idiots are getting away with it and getting more to hurt or even kill.
5. Fight Against Illegally Assisted-Suicide, Help Save Lives, Abolish Pro-Eating Disorder Websites

Each and every year, many women, of all ages, are killing themselves. These women and young girls are not committing suicide by hanging themselves or overdosing on pills. These women are suffering from anorexia nervosa. They are starving themselves to death.
However, these women are not doing it on their own; they are being aided in their slow suicide. This act of assisted suicide is illegal in 49 out of 50 states. With the help of pro-anorexia or, as they are more commonly called, "pro-ana" websites, visitors to these sites, usually young, female adolescents, looking to lose weight or who are already in the midst of an eating disorder, can obtain weight loss tips and tricks on how to hide their eating disorder from family and friends. These websites promote behaviors, which lead to osteoporosis, irregular heart beat, cardiac disease, seizures, nerve damage, heart attack and death.
Oregon is currently the only U.S. state, in which assisted-suicide is legal. Under the Death with Dignity Act, physicians are permitted to administer a lethal dose of medication to those suffering from a terminal illness. To qualify for physician-assisted suicide, one must meet a specific set of criterion. They must be at least 18 years of age, an Oregon resident, capable of making, as well as communicating health care decisions for themselves, and have been diagnosed with a terminal illness that will result in death in six month of less.
A terminal illness is an incurable disease, which is active, progressive and expected to lead to death. Anorexia is not a terminal illness. An anorectic showing up at an Oregon clinic wishing to receive assistance in ending her life, would be turned down, almost immediately, regardless of how much physical and emotional pain she was in, on the grounds that she did not meet the criteria of having a terminal illness. Though escaping from and living without an eating disorder may seem impossible to one who is suffering from an eating disorder, it is not impossible.
Anorexia can and has, many times, been cured. Though it is not easy to make a complete recovery, with the right treatment techniques and professionals, it is possible, even for those with the poorest of prognoses.
If suicide assisted by a physician is only legal in one state, and if anorexia does not meet the legal criteria, than the people who make these pro-ana websites, and those who offer these tips and tricks on "how to kill yourself", featured on these sites, have absolutely no right, legally, morally, or ethically, to be doing so. They are assisting others in suicide, which is something they have no right to be doing, seeing as we barely give medical doctors the right do so. Furthermore, to receive physician-assisted suicide, you must be of legal age to give consent.
Many of the girls who are visiting these websites are under the age of 18. They could not receive physician-assisted suicide if they were suffering from a terminal illness, therefore, it cannot possibly be legal for any stranger on the internet, who also may be under 18, to be assisting these young girls in their suicide attempts.
Research has shown that those who frequently visit pro-eating disorder websites spend more time in the hospital than those who do not visit these sites. These websites have very serious impacts on people. A young girl, thinking she is fat and needs to lose a few pounds, may stumble upon one of these websites. What happens next may be unthinkable. But, most likely she will look around the website, reading the various tips and tricks to drop weight quickly, but hide it from those around her. She will learn that you can eat whatever you want, but not gain a pound because you can purge yourself of the calories, using exercise, laxatives or vomiting. She will see pictures, or "thinspiration" of thin, rich, smiling, actresses and models.
What she will not see is pictures of emaciated bodies, with extremely dry skin and fine, laguno hair covering their bones. She will not see their eroding tooth enamel, or their ulcers, the dehydration or electrolyte imbalance. She will not see their thinning hair or heart arrhythmias. She will not see their hurt, their sadness and depression, or their broken hearts. She will not see their death. She will see the thin, glamorous models and actresses and wish to look like them. So, she will start to diet and lose weight, thinking she is in control of her actions. She will be recognized and praised for her weight loss, especially by the network of "friends" she has made through pro-ana websites.
They will encourage her to "keep up the good work" and not to "give in to the enemy (food) now". She will feel good about herself and think "I just want to lose five more pounds; Five more and then I will have the perfect body." However, she loses five more and the praise and positive comments and encouragement continue. Five turns into ten, ten into twenty, twenty into forty, forty into the hospital. All of a sudden, the young girl who just wanted to lose a few pounds and was in control of her diet, is now being controlled by her behaviors. She can't stop.
This is not one scenario, this is the course the majority of eating disorders take. This is the very reason why these websites need to be shut down. The rate of eating disorders is rising. The importance we place on beauty and our attitudes towards what we consider attractive, combined with websites such as these are contributing to the increasing prevalence of eating disorders. We must change our beauty ideal and shut down websites such as these, which are promoting self-starvation. Anorexia nervosa is a serious, life-threatening physical and an extremely emotionally painful disease that no one should ever have to experience.
Members of the pro-ana community may argue it is a violation of their rights to be censored. However, freedom of speech does not give anyone the right to help kill another person.
6. ANTHEM HEALTH INSURANCE PATIENTS
This is a petition for patients with Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield Insurance.
We as "Out-Network" Providers have been contacting Anthem Provider Relations to become an "In-Network" providers. We would like to have you sign this petition.
We are hoping that this would give Anthem a serious look at our patients' desire to come to Complete Chirpractic Office.

7. Abolish the Use of Child Soldiers
Though the use of children as soldiers is condemned by the international community, the atrocious practice are still continued in many countries.
Children involved in armed conflict, are beaten, raped, and killed. What's more troubling is that they are forced to carry out the same violent actions towards other people, even other children. Child soldiers live under severe conditions. They are not given the care that every child should get. Boys are not the only victim of this serious issue. Girls are also recruited as soldiers and are more at risk of rape, sexual harassment or abuse. Like the boys, they are also force to participate in combat.
We have an obligation to millions of children to make sure that they don't spend their childhood in a violent world where they must kill or be killed.
Please join us in our efforts to abolish the use of child soldiers.
8. Regulation of Energy Drinks
Some energy drinks that are available for sale in Canada are Guru®, Jolt Cola®, SoBe's Arush® etc. These drinks claim to increase one's energy, performance and concentration.
However, these drinks were introduced in Canada in July, 2004 with a lack of information, misinformation and with information being omitted from the labeling of these 'energy drinks'. This is evidently an important issue particularly because of the potential negative health effects that can result from the misuse of this type of beverage.
These drinks can have serious health effects that have gone unnoticed and unaddressed by Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
Because of the improper labeling and regulation of these drinks, consumers are not given a fair chance to make informed decision to consume these drinks. As such we are petitioning to have the regulation of these drinks in Canada as well as their labeling be revised.
9. End Honor Killings in Jordon
I am creating this petition to help put a stop to Honor killings in Jordon. This is a serious issue and needs to be addressed! i have read a novel called "Forbidden Love" by Norma Khouri,which is about an Honor killing. After reading this novel, i have realised that it still happens today around the world but it is an ancient tradition and is a serious issue in Jordon.
I have set up petitions and will be campaigning to help and stop honor killings in Jordon.
10. Banning The Beggars in Runescape
We runescape players, find that begging in runescape has become a serious problem and should be against the rules.
My 2 year old son went with his father for his very first overnight visit, and it's been a nightmare ever since. He came home with severe handprint shaped bruises over the entire area of his buttocks. Child Protective Services says the father told them he 'beat his butt for peeing in his underwear'. Knowing all this they said the injuries WEREN'T SERIOUS! They called it inappropriate discipline and said that the case was 'unfounded'. Because of that ruling I could NOT get a judge to see any of the video taped evidence that I have regarding the father's violent behavior or how my son reactes to his father when he comes to get him. The judge ruled that his father should get him back and that I was being unreasonable for having pursued this when Child Protective Services termed it 'unfounded'. Unfounded means that there could have been abuse but the injuries weren't severe enough for them to do anything about. Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous? My son was black and blue for over a week. He won't wear underwear now. He is afraid of his father. What about this is not serious? This is the most recent in a series of incidents. It's time our 'Protective Services' protected our children. Bruising such as my 2 year old suffered is ABUSE!!!!!
12. Blood Services Royal Commission Needed
We, the undersigned, request a Royal Commission of Inquiry into Australia's Blood Service management. In the past, thousands of Australians have suffered serious disease, and a significant number have died due to tainted blood transfusions and blood products. Disease and death continue to occur as a result of the therapeutic use of blood. Australians affected by tainted blood products have a right to know why their blood services failed them. A Royal Commission of Inquiry will also help bring about safer blood transfusions and blood products for all Australians in the future.
I feel puppy mills are an insult to dogs in general! Not only are they not quality breeders, they produce dogs with serious health problems.
Therefore, with no puppy mills, pounds would be less crowded!
