Blu-ray editions of Agatha Christie's Poirot and Marple are becoming available in the USA and Canada. For some reason, despite the latest episodes being filmed in HD, ITV have chosen not to released them on Blu-ray in the UK - the home of the Queen of Crime.
Here, we can show that there is a market for Agatha Christie's wonderful stories on high definition Blu-ray disc.
3. Australian People Demand an Early Election
This Labor government is dead in the water. It has lost its way… yet again. Its incompetence and arrogance has led it to be effectively at war with Australia. Its call to class warfare and attempts to divide and conquer Australians in order to enforce incompetent policies have failed.
Citizens, businesses and whole industries are now in unprecedented open revolt against its insane carbon tax, its brainless spendthrift programs and disastrous refugee policies. Labor now trashes our economy and neighbours with one bizarre political quick fix after another. Worst of all, it has no idea how to regroup and get back to governing and has no answers other than to pathologically project all its failings onto Tony Abbott. It no longer listens to it’s citizens and we no longer listen to it. It is now incapable of learning, condemned to repeat their bungling from East Timor to Malaysia, from roof insulation to TV set top boxes.
For it’s own sake and that of Australia, Labor needs to be removed from government and be allowed to disassemble and be reborn again. After all, it is not in our interest for Labor to self-destruct – we need two healthy and vibrant, competing political parties.
4. Release surviving episodes of "Animal, Vegetable, Mineral?" on DVD!
"Animal, Vegetable, Mineral?" was a popular quiz show which ran from 1952 until 1959, in which eminent scientists would try to guess the origin of specimens from museum and university collections.
It was one of the BBC's first major panel games.
David Attenborough was the programmes chief producer, he was also responsible for selecting the items to be shown to the panel. It was his second television 'credit'.
Four complete episodes exist in the BBC archives.
We would like the BBC to release the four surviving episodes (as well as any surviving clips) on DVD, so that they can continue to educate and entertain.
5. Release David Attenborough's Zoo Quest on DVD!
Zoo Quest was a series of nature documentaries broadcast on BBC television between 1954 and 1963. It was the first major programme to feature David Attenborough.
The series was the most popular wildlife programme of its time in Britain, and established Attenborough's career as a nature documentary presenter.
With the exception of the original 1954 series, (which survives as edited compilations repeated the following year) all episodes of Zoo Quest exist in the BBC Archives.
We want the BBC to release all of the Zoo Quest series on DVD, so that they can continue to educate and entertain.

'Late Night with Conan O'Brien' was one of the most consistently entertaining and creative television shows to ever grace the small screen. It is a rare show that only comes once in a great while, a show that's popularity is equally matched by its critical acclaim and influence on the television medium.
So to honor that rare and impressive achievement, we should preserve it in a complete series dvd release.
10. Get Freddy's Nightmares on Region 1 DVD
Dear Warner Bros. Studios, on behalf of many individuals, I am petitioning to see to it that the televison series Freddy's Nightmares gets a Region 1 DVD release in North America. Even though the Region 2 sales were lackluster in Europe, I assure you that they would be much better in the U.S. and Canada (Especially with the remake on the horizon, renewing interest in the series with fans.).
For awhile now, I have heard other Nightmare fans wish, beg, and pray for this series on Region 1 DVD. I too wish that this would happen very soon.

11. Release Hammersmith Odeon 1990 on DVD for 2010!

2010 will mark 20th anniversary of this legendary concert. We, the Bon Jovi fans, want Bon Jovi to release it on DVD. We consider it as one of the Bon Jovi career highlights. This show contains a special appearance by Jimmy Page who played Train Kept A Rollin'. It was shot in a magnificent black and white technique.

13. DVD: "Tour of the Universe" in Portugal
The Depeche Mode have a huge legion of fans in Portugal, where in 1993 they gave the first concert in Portugal.
Returning after 13 long years of waiting, they were received with the hope of a second concert, but the fans were disappointed to see it canceled after the trauma of health of the singer Dave Gahan.
14. Bring MCM Expo's Cosplay Roadshow to Norwich/Norfolk/East Anglia
There are various anime/manga, videogame, cosplay and media conventions around the country, but nothing substantial in East Anglia.
This petition is to gather support for such an event happening in this region, and also in support of the MCM Expo Group and its events.
The MCM Expo group is willing to bring their recently announced Cosplay Roadshow to this region if enough interest is generated.
This petition also serves as information about the fan base level in the region for other events to hopefully happen as well.

15. Request for Region-Free Sasuke DVD Boxset from Monster 9
I've been working on an ongoing project to try to get Monster 9 (the creators of Sasuke) to talk to TBS (Japan) to release Sasuke 1-22 (at least) into a DVD collection and/or box set. I sent a proposal with details and options they can use including a Region Free DVD so it's not just limited to North American (region 1) or Japan (region 2).
This way everyone around the world can buy the same DVD and have access to the original tournaments as they were aired on TBS. They acknowledge that they received the proposal but at this time I wanted to add something else to show it's not just Americans asking for this.
I am creating an online petition form in hopes of getting at least 500 signatures so then I can send that to Monster 9 to show there is demand for it worldwide. I did my best to include as many translations of the text as possible.
16. Release the SACD version of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, as planned
For the past five years, rumors of the release of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here on SACD format have been spreading around the audiophile community. PF's Dark Side Of The Moon has met with reasonable success and has been available since 2003. Evidence suggests that most work has already completed on this previously-planned release, but not a word has been heard on the matter since early 2008.
The SACD format still enjoys a relatively strong following among audiophiles; new SACD players and SACD-compatible players are still being released into 2009, and there exists an active enthusiast community who are always looking for titles on the format.
Pink Floyd's recordings have long been a metric for audiophile grade recording. DSOTM received the ultimate audiophile treatment with its 2003 SACD release; WYWH deserves the same.
17. Bridge to Terabithia - Special Edition
Bridge to Terabithia was an amazing movie, a fact that I'm sure many can agree on (If you can look past the misleading marketing that is). But the DVD and Blu-ray disc didn't really do the movie justice. While it had some cool extras, there wasn't much to look at.
So I thought I'd create a petition. To ask Walden Media and Disney to release a special edition of the movie, which should include way more clips and footage, as well as the deleted scenes which weren't included on the DVD/Blu-ray.

18. Get The EBU To Release Past Eurovision Song Contests on DVD
The EBU started to release the Eurovision Song Contest on DVD in 2004, however before then there is 50 years worth of Eurovision lost in the past, and are now only visible in glimpses on 'Eurovision Congratulations', in some documentaries or online.
I want to bring them back by getting the EBU to release them on DVD! We have already seen a massive audience for the event and so they will obviously prove to be successful.
19. Release All Laverne & Shirley Seasons On DVD
Laverne & Shirley was an American television situation comedy that ran on ABC from 1976 to 1983. It starred Penny Marshall as Laverne De Fazio and Cindy Williams as Shirley Feeney, roommates who, as the series began, worked in a Milwaukee brewery.
Laverne & Shirley was one of the greatest shows of that time. So far, only four out of eight seasons have been released. This petition is to get the rest of the seasons released on DVD. And I'm know I'm not the only Laverne & Shirley fan who want that to be done.
20. Release "The Bold Ones" on DVD
This "rare" television program called "The Bold Ones" aired on NBC from 1969-1973 which had rotating series featuring The Doctors (with the late E.G. Marshall, John Saxon, and ex-"Good Morning America" host David Hartman), The Lawyers (with the late Burl Ives, Joseph Campanella, and James Farentino), The Law Enforcers (with "The Naked Gun's" Leslie Nielsen, and the late Hari Rhodes) which was later replaced by the Emmy award winning segment called The Senator (with Hal Holbrook) in 1970.
This show was briefly shown on TV Land back in 1999 and currently airs on digital subchannel network called the Retro Television Network (in most markets). This was a great television program to enjoy, but was never released officially to DVD.
Hollyoaks later has been a really good show, the show has been really emotional and hilarious as well!
And it had great storylines like Craig/steph/tom/Niall, Zoe and Sarah lesbian kiss, Mercedes and Malachy's wedding and The Dirty Diegos enter battle of the bands!
I would love it if it gets released on DVD!

Buena Vista Home Entertainment veröffentlicht derzeit nach und nach alle deutschen Staffeln der beliebten US-Serie "Golden Girls" auf DVD.
Geplantes Veröffentlichungsdatum der 6. Staffel ist der 13. November 2008. Die 7. und letzte Staffel soll im Frühjahr 2009 erscheinen. In Amerika sind bereits alle 7 Staffeln der Golden Girls veröffentlicht worden. Leider gibt es weder in Amerika noch in Europa Pläne, auch den Golden Girls Nachfolger "Golden Palace" auf DVD zu pressen. Golden Girls und Golden Palace bilden eine Einheit, so dass die Sammlung erst mit der einzigen "Golden Palace"-Staffel vollständig ist.
Jede Stimme zählt und unterstützt uns dabei, Buena Vista Home Entertainment davon zu überzeugen, dass auch "Golden Palace" in die Regale und Online-Shops gehört!
24. Release BBC Comedy Drama 'Rescue Me' to DVD
This petition is in the hope that the BBC and Tiger Aspect Productions will release the romantic comedy television drama 'Rescue Me' starring Sally Phillips to DVD, shown on BBC 1 in 2002. This programme may appeal to fans of 'Love Soup', another romantic comedy drama made by the BBC which is on DVD, because of the same genre and for people who did not see the original transmission will finally have an opportunity to see it.
Though the programme may not of received the ratings it aimed for, the programme might still be of interest for people who are fans of the actors/actresses, such as Sally Phillips ('Smack The Pony' & 'Clare in the Community'), Oliver Chris ('Green Wing'), Stewart Wright ('Doc Martin') and James Lance ('I'm Alan Partridge' & 'The Book Group').

Rugrats: The best and longest running Nick-Toon on Nickelodeon. Most everyone loved it. Then after about 14 years of airing it was canceled. If this was on season DVD’s all the old fans could remember their childhood and newer generations of children could also enjoy it. It’s almost as if it has faded into oblivion.
Rugrats needs to be brought back somehow. It is depressing when you can barely find the show on TV.

Handlung:

Karan Arjun - 1995
Handlung:
Karan (Salman Khan) und Arjun (Shahrukh Khan) leben mit ihrer Mutter Durga auf dem Land und wissen nicht, dass der Landbesitzer ihr Großvater ist. Erst als er im Sterben liegt, erfahren sie die Wahrheit: sein Sohn hat Durga gegen seinen Willen geheiratet, deswegen hat er Durga und ihre Söhne nie akzeptiert. Nach dem Tod seines Sohnes warf er sie aus dem Haus und wollte nichts von ihnen hören. Nun bittet er Durga um Vergebung und will sein Vermögen seinen Enkeln vererben. Doch plötzlich taucht Durjan Singh auf und bestreitet seinen letzten Wunsch. Er erzählt, dass er der Mörder Durgas Mannes ist, und tötet schließlich den Alten, um sein Land zu erben. Durga und ihre beide Söhne lässt er frei. Doch dann überlegt er es sich anders und befiehlt seinen Leuten Karan und Arjun zu töten, damit sie sich später an ihn nicht rächen.
Als Durgas Bitten, Karan und Arjun zurück ins Leben zu bringen, von der Göttin Kali gehört werden, werden die beiden in verschiedenen Familien wiedergeboren. Karan als Ajay, der Boxer wird und für Saxena, Dhurjan Singhs kriminellen Geschäftspartner arbeitet, und Arjun als Vijay, der sich mit Pferden beschäftigt und sich in Sonia ( Kajol), Saxenas Tochter, verliebt, die Dhurjan Singhs Schwiegertochter werden soll, indem sie dessen Sohn ehelicht.
Bei diversen Begegnungen erkennen Ajay und Vijay, dass sie Karan und Arjun sind, und sie kehren zu ihrer Mutter Durga in 'Malakhera' zurück, um sich an Dhurjan Singh zu rächen.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment ist die verantwortliche Firma für die Veröffentlichung der Serie Golden Girls auf DVD weltweit. Die deutsche Division hat entschieden, dass die Fans aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz ruhig die ersten drei Staffeln der Serie kaufen dürfen, aber keine Fortsetzung mehr bekommen, d.h. die letzten vier Staffeln werden nicht als deutschsprachige DVDs veröffentlicht. Gegen diese traurige Entscheidung sollten wir ein Zeichen setzen: Die deutschsprachigen Fans möchten ALLE Staffeln ihrer Lieblingsserie auf DVD genießen können!
Eine Petition, die von möglichst vielen Golden-Girls-Fans unterzeichnet wird, könnte vielleicht für den nötigen Denkanstoß bei Buena Vista sorgen :o) Darum: Unbedingt unterzeichnen, mitmachen, weitersagen! Lasst uns dafür sorgen, dass die Verantwortlichen bei Buena Vista ins Grübeln kommen!

C.O.P.S. (Central Organization of Police Specialists) is a late 80s' animated series created by DiC Entertainment that aired between 1988-1989. The show aired again in 1993 on Saturday mornings in syndication as CyberCOPS. to avoid confusion with the live action version of COPS, the reality TV show. The series is all about a former federal agent Baldwin P. "Bulletproof" Vess leading his team of futuristic police officers against a criminal mastermind known as The Big Boss and his army of thugs who are running amok in Empire City in the year 2020.
Here's the C.O.P.S. episode The Case of The Lowest Crime for example.
It gained many fans from around the world who grew up enjoying the series along with its unforgettable characters such as Bulletproof Vess, Buttons McBoomBoom, Big Boss, Nightshade, Mace, Berserko, Highway, Sundown, LongArm, Barricade, Dr. BadVibes, and many others.
On February 28, 2006, Shout! Factory released only the first 22 episodes of C.O.P.S. on DVD. But, due to poor sales in the market, Shout! Factory have decided not to release the rest of the series out on DVD. This is unacceptable. Especially when nowadays, so many complete series of classic shows are being released on DVD left and right, including The Littles, The Complete Series, Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3: The Complete Series, and Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians: The Complete Series to name a few. Therefore, C.O.P.S. must be given a second chance.
This time, the series must be released on DVD as a complete series, with all 66 episodes released in either one or two boxsets and be formatted with eye popping features and catchy promotions to attract more buyers and achieve better sales in major retailers stores such as Best Buy and Wal*Mart. We the undersigned wish to see the complete series of C.O.P.S. (All 66 episodes, uncut and in high quality picture and sound.) be released on DVD so we can relive the memories of yesteryear watching the show every weekday morning and afternoon as well as watch them every Saturday mornings on CBS over and over again.
We also wish to have the DVD include commercial intros and back to the show segments, commercial promotions to the show, more concept artwork, and all the rest of the C.O.P.S. for Kids Segments, including segments featuring the Live action police officers giving out safety tips to viewers, Highway telling viewers don't steal the signs, LongArm telling kids don't smoke, and all the others.
