2. Repeal Liquor Sale Regulations in British Columbia 
"The intent of this petition is to have liquor sales laws in British Columbia amended SUCH THAT:
GENERAL:
1. Liquor sales regulations facilitate the rights of both citizens and businesses to exercise their freedom, rather than inhibit it.
2. An atmosphere of peace, prosperity, and cooperation is created and upheld to the highest standard.
3. Hours of legal sale should be expanded in order to allow citizens the greatest possible opportunity to enjoy their right to choose.
4. The issuance of liquor sales licenses should be expanded to include ANY legitimate retailer in the food category including grocers, convenience stores, and non-permanent vendors.
5. Public consumption of alcohol should be decriminalised, with an accompanying "stiffening" of punishments for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. This puts the onus of maintaining proper conduct onto the citizen rather than on Peace Officers, contributing to a sense of pride, personal responsibility, and cooperation.
3. Don't Force Churches to Accept Gay Civil Unions
On the 8th September 2011, it was revealed that the English government wanted to force all UK Christian churches to accept gay unions.
After reading these call to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in regards of the idea to make Christian Churches comply with "same sex unions" or face a ban on marriages.
This idea seriously resembles one of a Communist or Fascist. This idea is a huge attack on religious liberty. It's like they're saying that churches are not allowed to disagree with homosexuality or have a stance against it, or otherwise face legal consequences. All in the name of "equality". It's like they're removing their right to disagree. In politics, if a government forcefully removes the right of an institution or an individual to disagree with the state, then that automatically meets the definition of Authoritarianism.
In the United States, even where same-sex marriage is legal, religious institutions have legal protection against having to recognize or perform it. However what they are proposing is that the government should basically trample on the rights of Christian churches and force them to accept civil unions or face legal penalties for refusing to do so. That is not "liberalism" or there so called idea of "equality", it's merely using legal force to keep people in line to your ideas (authoritarianism).
In the USSR there was plenty of "equality", likewise there is in China, North Korea, Vietnam, etc. All of these states had policies which persecuted and suppressed Christians for the sake of "equality", again identical to what you are doing.
We believe that Christians should have liberty too; especially liberty to reject civil unions and gay marriage even if the state itself prohibits it. Why? Because Christians have beliefs and values just like Muslims, Jews, Hindus and Sikhs and just because they are often from this country or "white" does not make it any less of a religion than to face persecution by the state itself.
The two lads setting up this petition are both from a Christian and our church and our beliefs are no business of the state whatsoever, the governments ideas are infringing upon our individual rights and millions of other devout Christians in the United Kingdom. They wouldn't force Muslims or Jews to accept civil unions now would they?
Our Church does not accept civil unions or gay marriage and won't if the state tries to force it upon them. If homosexuals have a problem with our beliefs in this modern society, then they have the liberty not to be involved with us or worship with us, but likewise we also should have the respective liberty to disagree with today's modern obsession with homosexuality.

In 1986, the Government undertook a strategy that has rendered us under a lottery of companies, who are systemically dipping further and further into our pockets year on year.
But the sell off of British Gas was not then and not now in the greater interest of our Country.
We are facing the prospect of even greater energy bills, and the potential for an increase in hypothermia cases in the elderly and those on low incomes.
How can the energy companies continue to say they are absorbing the cost of energy prices when they continue to increase their profits at our expense.
But as a democratic Country we have the right to stand up to our Government and ask that they intervene for the greater good. Either by looking extensively into the energy lottery crisis or Re-Nationalise the energy market and aid us in being able to live comfortable without a fear of a cold winter, due to the cost of energy.
5. Time for Canada to sever ties with the British Monarchy
Although probably the majority of Canadians wish to keep ties to the British Monarchy, I wish to revisit the idea of supporting such institutions. I personally believe it is no longer healthy for our society and as well not healthy for the monarchy to keep perpetuating the idea of birth right to rule. These ideas are archaic and I believe humans have progressed passed this.
I think our society should support the rise of humans who have the skill and capability to do the job. As well, the freedom to democratically choose those who we feel as the majority should represent and make decisions on behalf of our country.
The world is changing, supporting these institutions may have very little bearing or effect in our own country due to limitation of the monarchy's power, but the perceptual image has an effect globally. Other peoples, such as in counties of the middle east, are not so lucky with their monarchs.
Even though I no longer support our monarchy as I have in the past. My own idealism and thought process have deemed it no longer relevant and even dangerous to other counties of lesser fortunes.
I do wish the current monarch luck, and even feel a bit bad for writing this piece. But I feel is must be thought out for the benefit of Canadians and all humans if these institutions represent what is right and fair.

Our aim is to provide spiritual and religious programmes that appeal to young and mature Sikh men and women, and inspire a Sikh way of life as inspired by the Ten Gurus. We will also be producing educational content for non-Sikhs and educational institutions.
The Sikh TV will give generations of Sikhs a platform to reach out and speak out on matters they feel strongly about. This will be a community television channel and we invite all Sikhs to get involved regardless of their age or gender.

7. Support for: The Video Nasties Retrospective.
I, Tim Porter have been organizing an retrospective, dedicated to an important time period in Horror Cinema & British Film History. The Video Nasties (as they were named by the press) created a mass of moral outcry. These movies were released on a new technological device that could be used at home: The VHS Player.
Videos were un-certified and figures such as Mary Whitehouse and the Conservative government decided to draw up a list of titles to seize and prosecute these movies as they were deemed evil and repugnant. This caused a ripple effect with the British Board Of Film Classification (BBFC), as similar films were heavily censored.
This retrospective focuses on the events of the 1980's. I plan to screen 16 of the so-called nasties. These screenings will include special guests ranging from film critics, filmmakers and academics. We plan to debate and discuss in a broad context the impact that this time period has made, whether the films were as harmful as first thought and a general discussion on censorship. We will also highlight recent films such as: A Serbian Film (2010) as a prime companion to the response from the media and censors about the film's content.
These screenings are proposed to go ahead at the University of Westminster: Harrow Campus. I am asking for your support as the university are hesitant about the event. This petition is to show the interest and a possible idea on audience numbers this event will attract.
8. Send the British Army from Afghanistan to Pakistan to help!
We are all aware of the current situation faced by the people of Pakistan in the floods and their open request for help in the media.
I suggest that the British Army is withdrawn from Afghanistan and move immediately to Pakistan to help there.
This will show demonstrate true British value's and with our Boys & Girls, I know that the best help available will be on hand.
Politically, in doing this act of kindness we will ease all of the tensions and perhaps start to live together in the world.
This needs action now as their situation is not likely to improve any time soon.
9. British Citizenship for persons born abroad to British Mothers and Fathers

Children born abroad to British female citizens and children of unmarried British male citizens are not recognised as equals in the United Kingdom to those either born before 1983 in the case of British female citizens or those born before 2006 in the case of unmarried British male citizens. They should be treated equally with those persons who are younger and and not be discriminated on the basis of their age as it is dividing families where one siblings and children all under go various formalities some automatic and others requiring registration payment of fees , checks, and have to attend ceremonies.

10. Support the English Defence League
Support the English Defence League to gain Government support to bring an end to Islamic Extremism, Sharia Law and all that this entails i.e. wearing of the Burkha, Halal products in restaurants and supermarkets. The building of Mosques and its accompanying Learning Centres which are 'alleged' to be a training ground for extremism.
The Government need to act and curtail these problems and support is needed by the English Defence League to bring this to the attention of our Government and compel them to act on it.

The British Government are debating whether to make our troops pay for their mail back home, while out on duty and operation in Afghanistan.

On 18 March the Immigration Minister Phil Woolas announced parallel changes to the Immigration Rules (for settlement applicants). As of the 7th of April any training / education organisations that were teaching ESOL with Citizenship has to be registered with one of the Home Office regulated bodies.

The reason behind this measure is the Home Office are aware that there are a lot of centres who cheat the system and do not actually ensure students meet the home office criteria for ESOL Skills for Life.
Due to this the Home Office have taken a drastic action and changed the law. Now a training centre who is registered with one of their recommended accredited boards can only deliver this course. The four mentioned are very expensive and time consuming. For small businesses it's impossible to pay £4000 plus wait 3-6 months to be approved.
English Speaking Board International should be allowed to be part of the recognised board. As all their centres have their students externally assessed to ensure they meet the requirement by the Home Office for ESOL 'Skills for Life'.
13. Ban the Wearing Of The Burka In Public In The UK
An MP has called the wearing of burkas the religious equivalent of “going round with a paper bag over your head."
In a parliamentary debate, Conservative MP Philip Hollobone said it was “offensive” for women to cut off face-to-face contact with other people. The Kettering MP said he had “huge sympathy” with those who wanted a ban on face-covering veils in public. None of the three large UK parties back a ban, with ministers saying it would not be “British” to bar them.
I thought I would invite readers to petition on the matter because I believe that the majority in the UK do not approve wearing of burkas on this basis plus the fact that it has no relevance or place in British Society and demonstrates a disregard for Britishness and the British way of life, and, furthermore, a refusal to integrate and follow customs of this land.
14. The three main parties have failed us but keep the racist uiltra right out
The main political parties have failed to implement or offer any reasonable policies to protect English identity. The ultra right parties such as the bnp and national front (if they even still exist in a meaningful way) are designed only to preserve white British identity.
If Scotland, Wales and Ireland can have their own devolved government under an umbrella British parliament, then why is England not allowed it. England is the only region of the uk whose residents have no say in how they are governed.
15. Stop the EDL!!
The edl are a fascist group which demonise and manipulate the british people into believing their views. The British people live in a democratic country with equal rights and the EDL (English Defence League) are twisting this and changing the way we think.
They have had a number of marches against islam but they say its against extremist islam which in actual is not what they are against they are against islam as a whole. They are making the British people believe that muslims are trying to take over the uk and radicalise it, this is a lie! just yesterday the EDL had a march through stoke on trent which was against extremist islam but the aftermath to this was far from anything they made us beleave this is what they set out to do.
As you can see from the following link shown below that many british officers were injured aswell as many passerbys all in the name of the EDL's ''peacfully protesting against radical islam'' as is stated on there webpage slogan!

Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation (ANTaR) and the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement of South Australia (ALRM) are seeking your support for the attached statement.
Aboriginal people affected by the British nuclear tests carried out in Australia in the 1950s should have the same rights as Australian veterans to compensation for radioactive injury from the British Government; and they need Australian government support to pursue their legal claims. Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation and the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement of South Australia want to see equitable access to legal processes for affected Aboriginal people following the decision of the British High Court to allow military veterans from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the UK to sue the British Ministry of Defence for compensation for damages related to radiation exposure from tests carried out on their Anangu lands.
To be launched on Thursday, 6 August 2009, the annual commemoration of Hiroshima Day, this statement will be circulated for six weeks seeking support before being formally presented to the governments concerned on 21 September 2009, which is the United Nations' International Day of Peace.

We are proud of the way the BBC has taken a stand to reflect our society in all its diversity in the past . We feel this is the right time for the BBC to show a large portion of our society that has been ignored for pretty much the entire history of broadcasting.
Women have fed their babies the normal way for ever , yet the british culture has sadly portrayed bottle feeding in every single section of the media and entertainment for so very long that bottle is now veiwed as the norm . It is not. It is in fact recognised as the forth best method of feeding an infant.
We would request that you consider making Heather a breastfeeder ,we dont ask any story changes at all , you dont even need to show her feeding , in fact we would prefer no dramatic storylines as that isn't how breastfeeding happens, its just a natural choice .
You could have Heather say " I'm going to lie down and feed the baby ", just show that she isn't spending hours at the sink washing and making bottles, let her be able to leave the flat in a minutes notice as all she has to do is grab a spare nappy go - in short Please BBC - Make Heather Trott a proud breastfeeding woman

The Parthenon sculptures, known as the "Elgin Marbles", are a huge collection of marble sculptures that were transported to the Great Britain at 1806 from Thomas Bruce, the 7th Earl of Elgin, ambassador in the Othoman Empire from 1799 till 1803.

28. Remplacer Rue Amherst avec Rue Domagaia
Chef Domagaya était le fils du Chef Iroquois Donnacona du village Stadacona, qui est présentement la ville de Québec. Chef Domagaya et Chef Donnacona ont sauvé les membres du navire de Jacques Cartier en leurs donnant des tisanes aux cédres (Shimer, 2004 p.44) et Domagaya était une aide à Jacques Cartier en France et en Hochelaga (Montréal). Chef Domagaya agissait aussi comme interprète entre les Français et le Iroquois.
Il existe déjà la rue Donnacona dans le quartier d'Hochelaga Maisonneuve donc nous nous sentons que c'est approprié de remplacer Amherst avec le nom de son fils, Domagaya. Il était un grand homme et mérite le respect pour sa contribution à la province du Québec et le Canada. Ce geste lancera également l'appréciation tellement nécessaire des Premières Nations, Métis et Inuits dans le développement d'Amérique du Nord, Canada, Québec et Montréal.

Seigneur Jeffrey Amherst était général commandant des forces britanniques en Amérique du Nord pendant les batailles finales avec les Françaises et Indiennes de Guerre (1754-1763). Il a gagné des victoires contre les Français pour acquérir le Canada pour l'Angleterre et a aidé l'Angleterre d'être le colonisateur primaire à la conclusion de la sept ans de guerre ou la guerre de la Conquête. La guerre a pris fin la position de la France comme l'un des principaux puissance coloniale dans les Amériques (1756-1763).

Chief Domagaya was the son of Chief Donnacona, Iroquois leader from the village of Stadacona, present day Quebec City. It is said that Chief Domagaya and Chief Donnacona helped save Jacques Cartier's crewmen from scurvy by brewing and feeding cedar tea (Shimer, 2004 p. 44) and that Chief Domagaya was an aid to Jacques Cartier, informing him about the ressources in Hochelaga, present day Montreal. Chief Domagaya also acted as an interpreter between him and other Iroquois communities.
There is already a street in Hochelaga Maisonneuve named Rue Donnacona and therefore we feet it appropriate to name a street after his son Domagaya. He was a great man and deserves recognition for his contribution to the province of Quebec. This gesture will also initiate much needed appreciation of First Nation people in the development of the re-discovered world - North America.

Lord Jeffrey1 Amherst was commanding general of British forces in North America during the final battles of the so-called French & Indian war (1754-1763). He won victories against the French to acquire Canada for England and helped make England the world's chief colonizer at the conclusion of the Seven Years War among the colonial powers (1756-1763).
Despite his fame, Jeffrey Amherst's name became tarnished by stories of smallpox-infected blankets used as germ warfare against American Indians. These stories are reported, for example, in Carl Waldman's Atlas of the North American Indian [NY: Facts on File, 1985]. Waldman writes, in reference to a siege of Fort Pitt (Pittsburgh) by Chief Pontiac's forces during the summer of 1763:
... Captain Simeon Ecuyer had bought time by sending smallpox-infected blankets and handkerchiefs to the Indians surrounding the fort -- an early example of biological warfare -- which started an epidemic among them. Amherst himself had encouraged this tactic in a letter to Ecuyer. [p. 108]
Historian Francis Parkman, in his book The Conspiracy of Pontiac and the Indian War after the Conquest of Canada [Boston: Little, Brown, 1886] refers to a postscript in an earlier letter from Amherst to Bouquet wondering whether smallpox could not be spread among the Indians:
Could it not be contrived to send the Small Pox among those disaffected tribes of Indians? We must on this occasion use every stratagem in our power to reduce them. [Vol. II, p. 39 (6th edition)]
As a war criminal and a British soldier who conquered the French, we feel it appropriate that the name of Amherst be removed as a street name and replaced with the appropriate name of a local Iroquois Chief, in this case Cheif Domagaya.

30. Real Fans taking Real Action – Boycott Ibrox!
In 2003 around 100,000 Celtic fans travelled to Seville, in Spain to watch their team play in the UEFA Cup final. Even though their team lost, the Celtic fans were so well behaved, UEFA presented them with an award in recognition of this – the first time it had ever so.
Fast forward to the 2008 UEFA Cup final in Manchester, and the disgusting scenes that were broadcasted across the world of so called football fans rioting, attacking Police and assaulting rival fans in the stadium and in the centre of one of the busiest and culturally diverse cities in Europe.
Ranger’s fans have not only brought shame and disgust on their club, but on the whole league, and by association, every other SPL club. After the last 2 ‘Old Firm’ matches, Celtic Fans have been targeted in attacks by Rangers Fans, which have resulted in 1 death and one Celtic fan being hospitalised indefinitely.
Celtic fans are tired of being connected to Ranger’s, simply because they are located in the same city – just as you wouldn’t accuse Fred West’s neighbour of being a mass murderer simply because they lived next door to him, Celtic, Hib’s, Hearts and other SPL fans don’t wish to be tarnished with the same brush as Rangers Fans.
