Over the past few years university fees have been rising swiftly. In this year of 2012 many universitys have instituted fees up too £9,000 a year. Whereas in 2011, Universitys could only charge £3,290.

2. National Mental Health Awareness Day 
This petition is to bring awareness to the lack of mental health awareness and its impact on our country. In the shadow of the massacre that happenened on December 14, 2012 in Newtown CT, I as a Mother and American Citizen feel we all should rise up and be heard!
Every time there is a mass murder like this, there is a mentally ill person responsible. Not all mentally ill people are bad. But all of the bad ones, typically, are untreated for their disorder. Columbine, the movie theater in Aurora Co, and now this. 20 elementary school students, mostly kindergartners, and 7 faculty members murdered by an out of control mentally ill person.
Join us in this movement to hopefully one day feel safe again. Don't let these children's deaths be in vain. We couldn't save them that fateful morning but this may save other children from a similar tragedy.
3. Support Monster in Mass Production of previously cancelled Tron T1 and Daft Punk Over-Ear Headphones
After the release of Disney's 'Tron: Legacy' movie, Monster Cable Products decided to produce headphones that would be designed by Disney and have an amazing quality, great sound experience, and have a futuristic, stunning look. They created Tron T1 black and T1 Daft Punk limited edition headphones. They were made and presented at Monster CES 2012.
Some of the well-known, famous people have these headphones, but the rest of us, had to wait for it's official release date. After a year of promises and delays, Monster cancelled Tron T1 headphones. From what I and other people saw, the released product looked, felt and sounded no less than awesome. Not all of us were able to try these headphones in real life, but even reviews by other people state that these are cool gadgets for music listening and gaming. To Monster, these headphones weren't good enough.
These T1's had to be better in all aspects than other famous headphones. After Monster cancelled T1's, China started officially manufacture cheap copies of T1 Daft Punk headphones. Those are awful and not even nearly the same headphones as what Monster presented at CES 2012. They are similar by looks, but Chinese copies are made from cheap materials, and aren't exactly the same looking models like those from Monster.
These are the headphones that many would want to buy and this is not an exaggeration. Just take a look at all the chinese replicas of T1's being sold only this month. What more to say, but that we want real Tron T1 headphones back in production by Monster team!
Due to the recent events involving Mitt Romney's remarks about Obama supporters and the Republican parties unfair treatment of Ron Paul supporters, we have no confidence in Mitt Romney's chances of winning the 2012 Presidential election.
We feel that these events reflect poorly on Mitt Romney,and any further involvement would only hurt Gary Johnson's chances of victory.
5. Show the Movie "2016: Obama's America" and Save the Country
For the entire Presidential Candidacy of Barack Obama, the Mainstream Media has hidden the details of his background, his beliefs and his radical associations with America hating communist and even convicted terrorist. They know that any of his known associations and anti-colonialist convictions would instantly derail Obama's chance of re-election.
After seeing "2016: Obama's America" I decided something has to be done. I believe the more people that see this movie the more people that will have a true understanding of Obama's true motivation.
6. We Want Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon
Many of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon's faithful American fans have been awaiting a release in English or English dub since 2005.
I only wish to directly support all those involved in making this beloved show, and not the fansubs or pirates.
I hope that seven years is enough time to warrant an American release.

It is our understanding that Republican Presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul has achieved a plurality of delegates in a minimum of five states. We are asking as one voice that you make our republican convention fair by giving Dr. Ron Paul a speaking slot at the convention. The world has taken notice of this election.
Let us not become a joke to them, but rather an example of the integrity of our great nation. Let the convention showcase the two great leaders from our republican side, that one may emerge to contest Barack Obama. Let us showcase to the world, on the greatest of stages, what a republic looks like.

On July 1, 2012, Mexican citizens voted for their next president.
Unfortunately, the process was plagued with voter fraud which included people being turned away from voting precincts, discrepancies between the numbers reported by the voting precincts and the numbers reported on the official web page of IFE (The institution in charge of supposedly ensuring fair democratic elections), and buying of votes.
This can be easily proven by going to youtube.com and browsing "fraude electoral 2012" or similar search terms. Also on several facebook posts and twitter.
We as citizens of this great nation must demand that democracy is respected not only in our nation but throughout the world.

Build A Body Kid's Fitness, Inc. (BABKF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting the childhood obesity epidemic in the USA. Approximately 17% (or 12.5 million) of children and adolescents aged 2-19 years are obese.
Since 1980, the obesity prevelance among children and adolescents has almost tripled.
There are significant racial and ethnic disparities in obesity prevalence among U.S. children and adolescents. In 2007-2008, Hispanic boys, aged 2-19 years, were significantly more likely to be obese than non-Hispanic white boys, and non-Hispanic black girls were significantly more likely to be obese than non-Hispanic white girls.

Mariska Hargitay, 48, is primarily known for her role as Detective Olivia Benson on NBC's long running Law & Order spinoff, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as well as a passionate advocate working for victims of sexual abuse.
But as has been said by countless acquaintances, coworkers and other comedic television personalities as someone who in real life, is more suited to the hilarious exploits of SNL. And if you have ever seen an interview, written or filmed, you'll know this is fact.
And in fact, It would be a complete injustice to deprive the world of her talent for any longer.

15. DISSOLVE THE COALITION GOVERNMENT IN KENYA
Kenyans have not had peace since December 2007 when they had the last botched General elections. The current crop of members of parliament does not inspire Kenyans to love their country and have confidence in the Kenyan parliament.
Since we now have an Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and a Supreme Court that Kenyans have confidence in, it is only fair to the people of Kenya that fresh general elections are called in 2012 so that new leadership that is trusted and cherished in elected under the new constitution.

17. Kenya Diaspora Right to Vote
Per the New Kenyan Constitution

Section 82(1): Parliament shall enact legislation to provide for—(e): the progressive registration of citizens residing outside Kenya, and the progressive realization of their right to vote.

Kenya’s newly elected Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission board recently visited Kenya Diasporans in the USA. In the various cities they visited, the Chief Electoral Officer ( CEO ) James Oswago, repeatedly pointed out that the purpose of their trip was to pick Diaspora minds on how to move forward with the voting process for the Diaspora since the new constitution gave Kenyan citizens outside the country the right to vote. The ironic thing is that he would then be followed on the podium by chairman Isaack Hassan, who would sing a totally different song and instead of trying to pick Diaspora minds, would go right into declaring what they felt was the best way for Diaspora Kenyans to vote.
He ruled out online voting and several other methods and seemed firmly set on stating that they would recommend Diaspora Kenyans travel to vote at the Embassy and consulates in Los Angeles and New York. He also mentioned that the Embassy officials would act as voting agents. He also said diasporans would only be able to vote for the presidential race and not any other races. If implemented, this process will hinder free and fair elections by Kenyans in the Diaspora for several reasons, two main ones are mentioned below:
*In the USA, the average cost of travelling to any of the said cities, along with accommodation will be upwards of USD $500. This process will have to be done twice: For voter registration and for voting. This in essence prevents any Kenyan citizen without approximately $1000 USD to spare from voting, which means the election is NOT free. Outside the USA, there are several other large countries with large Kenyan populations that will face the same dilemma e.g. Canada, India, Australia, e.t.c.
*Ambassadors to the Kenyan Embassy and missions are political appointees. Having them serve as voting agents would be a conflict of interest and this does not promise a FAIR election process
Per the constitution:
Section 82 (2): Legislation required by clause (1) (d) shall ensure that voting
at every election is—
(a) simple;
(b) transparent; and
(c) takes into account the special needs of—
(i) persons with disabilities; and
(ii) other persons or groups with special needs.
All the above would be violated if they proposed a measure to require Kenyans to fly to the 3 states to register and vote.
When these concerns were brought up, the IEBC board then resorted to using different tools of manipulation by playing with the word “Progressive” which is used in the constitution clause. In essence, the word progressive was now being used as a weapon, as he said that the term progressive gave them the power to rule out any process they felt could not be implemented within the time frame they have.
What this means is that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission can wake up tomorrow and give the minimal effort to enable diasporans to vote, and say that it will be a progressive progress, as long as at least a small bunch can vote in 2012. Their words seem to hint at them planning to do just that, hence the ridiculous suggestions that hundreds of thousands of Kenyans converge on a tiny embassy or consulate on a single day to cast a vote in an election overlooked by a political appointee.
We REJECT this attempt at manipulation of the constitution to deny us our right to freely and wilfully vote.
We demand that the Kenyan Government explore all options available to ensure the most convenient voting process is set up, preferably online voting. If online voting cannot be implemented and we have to resort to specified Diaspora polling stations, there should be a process in place to ensure that polling stations are conveniently spread out in accessible locales where Kenyan citizens living abroad can travel to vote without incurring any expenses. For the USA, some of these cities (which have large populations) include:

Atlanta, GA
Kansas City, MO
Colombus, OH
Seattle, WA
Other diaspora cities across the world TBD
The Kenya govt can swear in voting officers from the hundreds of thousands of diaspora abroad if need be. Do not deny us our right to vote

18. Metallica To play a small warm up gig before Download 2012
I'm starting off this petition as a huge and epic request not just from a huge metallica fan but a fan of metal. I run and organise a rock/metal night at DeBees Music Bar in a small town of Winsford, Cheshire, UK and i am opening up this offer to James, Lars, Kirk and Robert to play this venue before taking the stage at the Download Festival, Donington, UK.

This has brought an insurgence of interests from fans for a Star Wars Celebration in Australia.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for Star Wars fans from the Oceania/Asia Pacific region to attend to and celebrate our love for Star Wars, and what better way to make it happen in 2012, to coincide with the 10 year anniversary of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, that was primaringly shot in Sydney, Australia.

In 2008 millions of voters were disenfranchised in the Republican Primary. Due to the length of the primary season, many of the candidates had dropped out leaving the voters in the states that hold their primaries later in the season, with little or no choice.
For the 2012 primary, we would like to see more debates with candidates and then hold just One Primary in which everyone can vote for their favorite candidate.

We believe that everyone has a right to shelter in 21st century Britain. There must be an alternative to the streets for every person in every area.
Rough sleeping numbers have fallen over the last decade, however between 2006 and 2008 the figures remained static. We believed it was time for fresh thinking and campaigned for more than three years, alongside our members, for a new strategy not only to help stop the flow onto the streets, but also to help those already there move on to independent lives.
Progress so far...
On November 18 2008, the previous Government launched No One Left Out: Communities ending rough sleeping, a 15 point action plan developed with leading rough sleeping charities to help end rough sleeping for good. This was followed by a pledge from the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, to end rough sleeping in London. This is significant as London accounts for more than half the national rough sleeping population. In July 2010, Grant Shapps MP, Housing Minister, announced a consultation on how street counts of rough sleepers are carried out.
A Challenge for our time...
We are campaigning for an end to rough sleeping ‘once and for all’ in this country by the time the Olympics come to Britain in 2012. Often homelessness is swept out of sight for the Olympics, this time we believe it can be different. The goal is ambitious, but grounded in the success of the last ten years, when Government, charities and local councils have worked together to reduce the problem.

29. Boycott History, Discovery Channels for 2012 Prophecy Scare Tactics
It’s a well-known fact that since we first learned of the end of the current Mayan calendar on December 21st, 2012, there’s been much adieu of what will happen to the world. Many people believe that the world will come to an end in a “doomsday” fashion, destroying all of the worlds and plunging it into chaos. This is very similar to what would’ve supposedly happened if the Y2K bug shut down computers and caused widespread panic on January 1st, 2000 – a bug that never came into fruitation.
Many people who’ve fallen for this “end of the world” hype, and other related prophecies, including an alleged “Large Hadron Collider” that would cause a “big bang or create a large hole to destroy the world (this cited by the website, www.2012hoax.org,) have either have fallen into a depression so deep that they can’t eat, sleep or focus on school, work or other life priorities. Even worse, these same people, many of them young children and teenagers, have either thought of, attempted, or committed suicide. A note-worthy example was a 16-year-old girl in India, who drank insecticide when she heard of the aforementioned LHC hype, courtesy of poorly-made and overhyped reports in the media.
The truth about 12/21/2012 is that is the world as we currently know it will come to an end, and will bring in a new era of perspective and (hopefully) a peace-loving future. However, according to 2012hoax.org, people such as Jose Argulles, Nancy Lieder and RJ Stewart, and websites as www.2012warning.com, continue to feed many people this disgusting lying nonsense for profiting purposes. “First they scare people to death that something terrible is going to happen, then publish books and videos on how to survive the apocalypse”. This is nothing more than a money-grabbing scam.
What’s shocking is that educational TV stations such as History and Discovery Channels, and National Geographic, are airing shows and specials that are backing up the claims to put more fear – using theories and false “evidence” rather than credible research – into the minds of those who already believe, or the more gullible who know nothing about this. This includes young children who watch these stations for educational purposes, in which many parents come to sites like 2012 Hoax for advice on how to tell them the truth about it. When these parents do, these children become confused until the truth sinks in after some time. It’s very unlikely they will stop this on their own, as this hyping is bringing in ratings and profits.
It’s unbelievable that networks such as History and Discovery Channel, which have earned reputations of educating students on history, nature and science with facts, would act so irresponsible with their target audiences.
I call on everyone reading this to sign this petition, telling them we will limit our time watching these stations, or stop watching them altogether, until they cease and desist with these lies and hokum about 2012.
