1. Give us back the Old Myspace

I believe that the old Myspace should be brought back, such as the Myspace that was a place for friends unlike the new Myspace that is now a place for music entertainment.

Facebook is way worse than Myspace ever was. With Facebook, I feel like there is no privacy as much. I feel it's too public and with the old Myspace, I felt safe. On the old Myspace, we were able to customize our profile to describe with also music that we liked ! Where Facebook doesn't.

Myspace has lost over 75% of it's population because of the complicated new Myspace. I feel like whoever owns it now, has changed the site into something else. I actually contacted Myspace and ask them to change it back, but they felt like it was too complicated for us.

WHAT ??? That was the easiest site for me and nobody had a problem with it as far as I know.

2. Retire Favre

Mr. Favre, since 1992 you have been a tremendous asset to the Packers organization. Your skill and passion for not only the game, but also for the team, the great state of Wisconsin, and the adoring Green Bay Packer Fan Base has been amazing and apparent.

You have set yourself apart in football history as a legend not only to the game, but also to the Packers Organization.

However, on the cusp of a playoff season and a division championship, it is the belief of we, the undersigned, that the 2007 season should cap an amazing 16 years of Packers excellence.

We believe that it is time for the Packers organization to focus on the next generation of Packers excellence.

3. Save NZ Democracy

The Electoral Finance Bill makes New Zealand a democracy in name only.

This bill has many highly concerning provisions such as: preventing ordinary citizens, Plunket and ambulance services among many others, from having their views heard a year before an election.

It provides taxpayer funds to electorate MPs currently in office but not those competing against them.

The Human Rights Commission, NZ Law Society, and Greenpeace all oppose the bill, and a majority of submissions to the Select Committee suggested that the bill should be scrapped altogether.

The Bill will pass parliament by a very small majority, which is inappropriate for a bill which will substantially and dramatically alter New Zealand's constitutional arrangements. The only way to stop the bill is to persuade the Governor-General not to assent to it.

4. Replace Steve Kragthorpe

1/3 of the way through the 2007 season, new Louisville coach Steve Kragthorpe isn't getting the job done. Louisville is 2-2 with wins against only Murray State and Middle Tennessee State.

Louisville has thus far lost to bitter rival University of Kentucky, and suffered through an embarrassing loss to perennial Big East bottom dweller Syracuse.

It's not only the fans that have noticed a difference in the Card's performance this season. After the Syracuse loss, both quarterback Brian Brohm and center Eric Wood gave criticism of Kragthorpe and his coaching methods.

Brian Brohm: "We’ve got to have more of a sense of urgency out there. Maybe we’ve got to have that in practice."

Eric Wood: "I don’t think we prepared well enough for this game."

Athletic Director Tom Jurich continues to stand behind his long time friend, Kragthorpe.

"There will be no spin from this program. No excuses," Jurich said. "We will rebuild this."

The key word in that quote is rebuild. Louisville is a team coming off a one loss season, conference championship and BCS bowl win. 2007 should be a continuation of last year's success, not a rebuilding year.

5. Get a New Scooch Single/Album

Scooch are a pop/dance band who have had success on the UK Single Charts and represented the UK at Eurovision 2007.

But at the moment they are not releasing any more songs so this is to convince them that fans do want new songs from them.

8. Cease the Debris Caution in NASCAR

Over the past year or two, NASCAR has been phasing in the debris caution more and more in racing. The caution flag is thrown for debris most times once the field is spread out and the racing becomes boring by NASCAR's standards. Fans and drivers grumble about this week after week, but it's time to do something about it.

The caution flag should be used for safety - not fixing races. As a goal, this petition wishes to reach 70,000 signatures. This would equal the 70,000 race fans that were present at the spring California race of 2007 (per Yahoo.com) in which a late debris caution was thrown. The yellow flag changed the face of the race completely.

In an LA times article Jimmie Johnson had this to say about the late caution: "If anyone did see the debris, I'd like to know where it was," Johnson said. Asked about the predictable nature of the yellow flags, Johnson said, "It did seem like there was one coming."

Drivers, fans, and even the TV crew are no longer surprised by these fantom debris cautions. These actions should be taken:
(1) TV cameras should show NASCAR crews picking up debris after a debris caution.
(2) NASCAR should eliminate tracks from the schedule that cause this "boring" racing.

If these actions are taken, NASCAR may gain respect back from fans and teams that are now wondering about the integrity of the sport.

10. MATRIX PHONE, Bring back the Nokia 8110 used in the first Matrix movie!

This Petition is to help bring back the phone used in the original Matrix movie, the Nokia 8110. The phone was released in 1998 and is now discontinued. In my opinion and hopefully yours as well, if Nokia reintroduces the NEW revamped Nokia 8110 in the US, it will be a hit with Matrix fan base as well as many others. All across the internet many people are still very interested in the phone even though it was released over eight years ago. This will give Nokia the chance to release a very advanced phone that still would also have the classic Matrix history behind it.
