Background (Preamble):

Every day we go to school and go to lunch - ie those of us who can't pack our lunch every day - are forced to choose from animal products, but not all of us are carnivores. Many vegetarian/vegan teens don't get a healthy lunch because their schools won't provide them with one. We want that to change!

Petition:

We, the undersigned students who support vegetarian/vegan options added to the lunch menu, would like to petition the Waverly Central School District to consider adding vegan options to the lunch menu. This would keep more vegetarians and vegans, and maybe more omnivores healthy because of the better nutrition vegan food provides.
