Background (Preamble):
Violence in the name of religion still persists. Just a few days before Christmas, in the Indonesian City of Bekasi, another Church was attacked on Dec 18th 2009 (Santo Albertus Church, Bekasi).
Our Government and officials are unable to curb such acts of violence, clearly for lack of the political will.
Need support from the Global Community to pressurize our Government through the Indonesian Embassies/Missions in your respective countries. Shalom Salaam Sadhu Shanti..

We, the undersigned, call on the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, and the United Nations to put pressure on the head of the state, to immediately act against the fanatics, extremists, and radicals who are let loose to destroy places of worship of faiths other than theirs.
