Glasgow City Council are planning to elevate the statue of The Duke Wellington to prevent the time honoured practice of anointing him with a traffic cone.
We the undersigned respectfully request that Glasgow City Council withdraw its plan to increase the height of the Duke of Wellington statue to prevent cones being placed on it.
The cone has become an iconic symbol of Glasgow and a much loved tourist attraction.
