Background (Preamble):
This is a new national campaign dedicated to pressing the National Assembly for Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government to introduce compulsory 20mph speed limits on every road/street that has primary and/or secondary schools on them.
We started this campaign locally in Blackwood as some schools have 20mph, some 30mph and others suffer with 40mph zones, there is no national consistency for safe speed limits and due to many requests accross Wales we have now launched our campaign nationally - please support us

We, the undersigned, call on the Welsh Assembly Government to enact the required laws to restrict speed limits of roads within Wales that have schools to 20mph without delay.
