Background (Preamble):
In March this year death row prisoners had their visiting times reduced from every Friday to only two Fridays every month. This has resulted in severe overcrowding on the visiting yard.
In some cases inmates and their loved ones have had their visits cut short or have not received visits at all. These men are locked in cells 23 hours a day with little contact to the outside world. Every day they live with the fear of execution.
Now it seems what little rights they have are being slowly taken away from them.

We, the undersigned, ask Commissioner Richard F Allen of the Alabama Dept of Corrections to restore the correct visiting times and days to the death row prisoners of Holman Correctional Facility.
