1. Justice for Hayley - Driving ban should commence on prison release
On 3rd August 2009 Hayley was killed in a car crash aged 17. The driver, Sadat Hakim was found guilty of death by dangerous driving and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. He was banned from driving for 4 years to run concurrently.
We hope to change this decision, and get the driving ban to commence on prison release.
2. Stop Commercial Diver Deaths
There are laws governing the safety of divers that work in the North Sea, that have prevented accidents and deaths occurring at the rate that was prevalent in the 1970's.
These laws have yet to be reflected in the inshore and coastal areas of the EU.
The following have happened this year:
25th January, Belgium, Olivier Rouxhet, Civil protection fire fighter diver, drowned when trapped on a sluice gate in the river Meuse during a search for two missing children.
23rd March, Spain, Javier Diaz-Macias was working (upstream) on a dam, his body was recovered downstream, it looks like he went through the spillway.
28th March, Spain, Hector Luelmo-Mayo, A soldier with the 5th intervention Battalion based in El Ferral de Bernesga, one of a 4 man diving team, separated from his group, body recovered the day after.
27th April, Italy, Ottavio Baumgartner, Cleaning water intake grill at a the Edipower plant in Sermide in Northern Italy, found stuck on the grill with his mask off, failed to respond to treatment.
4th June, Spain, Julio Dacosta-Gallo, Cleaning the propeller of a tug when 'somebody' started her up, his colleague (Andres) on the other side of the prop was injured but blown clear, Gallo got sucked through the blades and cut to pieces.
7th June, Portugal, David Mato-Garrido, Fish Farm or Fish Processing Plant, Sucked up a water inlet pipe and drowned in the hour it took to get a recovery diver to him.
9th July, Spain, Daniel Heres Álvarez, diver died gathering gelidium ( a kind of kelp used to extract several foods, pharmaceutical and cosmetics components mainly agar-agar ), in north of Spain due to unsafe procedures.
It is time the regulations took into account the safety and training of commercial divers on inland and coastal waters!
Wire rope barriers are dangerous and expensive. Where they have been installed, motorcyclists colliding with them have suffered horrific injuries and death, often far worse than the consequences of the item the wire rope was protecting them from.
Recent studies have shown that they are also more expensive to maintain than their competitors. Various countries such as the Netherlands and Norway have banned their use so there is no reason why they continue to be used in the UK.
Over 250,000 healthy cats and dogs are being put down per year, due to the issue of over breeding resulting in them having no owners, no home and therefore.. no life.
It is unjust and unfair to spare the life of an animal, if help can be given to them. Please remove the 7-14 day euthanization policy, and instead provide foster carers to look after them until they find homes.
Let's all speak out, for the animals that can't.

5. Reveal Industry Statistics, death and abuse in the Canadian Family Court System
PLEASE NOTE: That the above publish date is the origin of petition cause. The petition below was been updated in the month of November of 2011.
The following statement is of my own personal opinion and true beliefs.
I spent less than a year as a licensed private investigator with little to no skill in order to discover what will no doubt soon lead to one of the most significant discoveries and or disclosures of judicial industry information regarding the Canadian family court system ever disclosed.
It is my true belief with respect to my simple discovery that there are no changes that could possibly ever be made to the present family court system that would reduce the enormous amount of suffering and death presently taking place.
With your support, this never before seen judicial industry information will be for the first time, gathered, compiled, then disclosed to the public.
6. Prompt Media and Journalistic Reform
The photo that televised global media news networks used on the announcement of Osama Bin Laden's death yesterday has been confirmed fake, originally reported by the Guardian news paper Monday 2 May 2011 12.03 BST.
This finding prompts the need for news media reform geared toward responsible journalistic principles.
7. Boris: Install mirrors that save cyclists lives (Petition for Paula)
On April 5th 2011, on a clear afternoon long before rush hour, London cyclist and student Paula Jurek was knocked down and killed by a lorry turning left from Camden Road into St Pancras Way. She was just twenty.
She joins many other cyclists killed or gravely injured in the same circumstances in London, but if you click the image above to sign this petition for Paula, and many others, you can help ensure this doesn't happen again.
Her death could have been prevented by three things, one of which is so cheap and simple it could be done tomorrow.
As Boris Johnson tries to coax more cyclists onto our roads, he must also make the same effort to keep them safe. Here’s how:
1. MIRRORS FOR LORRY DRIVERS: In 2010, Mr Johnson introduced "Trixi" mirrors, mounted at junctions to give lorry drivers greater visibility on their left sides and to prevent these kinds of accidents.
But he installed only 39 of these mirrors for the entire capital.
He said they would be "reviewed", but their effectiveness has already been demonstrated in Europe. In January, he was asked when this review would be available. His answer: "TfL will shortly be discussing the results of the trial… to retain the existing mirrors and to install further mirrors." That was January. Where are the results? Where are the mirrors?
Both lorry drivers and cyclists have agreed the mirrors are a big help. Even the Deputy Chair of London's Transport Committee and one of Mr Johnson's own colleagues, Caroline Pidgeon, says these mirrors are an important part of improving cycle safety. But Boris has stalled.
The mirrors do not cost much to install or maintain, and the process involves no disruption. They save lives. We need more, now.
2. CITY TRAINING FOR LORRY DRIVERS: Lorry drivers cannot always see cyclists. While a few London boroughs have specifically trained lorry drivers to watch for them on the capital’s busy and sometimes narrow roads, most boroughs still haven’t.
3. SAFE CYCLE ROUTES IN CAMDEN: There are few provisions for cyclists in Camden, yet many students and young people bike there every day. Camden's roads are packed and its cyclists need safe cycle lanes and cycle boxes. The junction at which Paula died has only one cycle box. Why? It should have three.
Camden Councillor Paul Braithwaite has been pushing TfL to improve cycling provisions where Paula died. "There are far too many deaths on Camden Road," he says.
Smoking causes many life threatening illnesses such as lung cancer and heart disease. Also, for every two hours you spend in a smoke-filled environment, you are inhaling the equivalent of one pack of cigarettes in secondhand smoke.
Furthermore, when non-smokers are exposed to secondhand smoke it is called involuntary smoking or passive smoking. Non-smokers who breathe in secondhand smoke take in nicotine and other toxic chemicals just like smokers do. The more secondhand smoke you are exposed to, the higher the level of these harmful chemicals in your body.
Lastly, about 3,400 lung cancer deaths in non-smoking adults are caused by secondhand smoke. Smokers not only kill themsleves, but murder others who do not smoke too.
Death news upsets people ans people don't want to hear it. It brings bad luck usually. It's depressing. We must stop it !
10. JUSTICE FOR THE MURDER OF JURAN LORENZO RAMAN
Murdered
A member of Raman’s family, who refused to be named, said the families believe Raman was murdered.
“They said that the suspect is a member of a gang from Mountain Rise who frequents Cafe Vacca Matta.
“The family asked to view the CCTV at the Vacca Matta nightclub, but they refused to let us do so,” the relative.
Commenting on Facebook, Jared Reddy said, “There is definitely something being covered up. The boy was ‘stabbed accidentally’ and ‘someone was detained’ ‘… he fell on broken glass’. I don’t know whether it’s possible to fall on glass and die. Sounds like the floor is the culprit. Someone stabbed this boy, who’s someone else’s son and brother. Justice Please.”
Jeevan has appealed for witnesses to call Detective Warrant Officer Swami Pillay at 082?556?1380.

A man accused of murdering a 20-year-old at a Pietermaritzburg nightclub on Sunday appeared briefly in the city’s regional court yesterday.
Sherwin Cara, 20, has been charged with the murder of Juran Lorenzo Raman at Vacca Matta nightclub at the Golden Horse Casino.
Cara appeared unperturbed when magistrate Bessie du Preez read out the charge sheet to him.
Asked if he understood the charges, he simply nodded. Cara has appointed advocate Martin Krog to defend him.
The State indicated that it intended opposing bail and requested that Cara be remanded for seven days.
Du Preez granted the remand as the State needed to ascertain the safety of witnesses, whether Cara had any previous or pending cases, and his personal details.
Cara is alleged to have stabbed Raman twice in the neck with a broken glass. Raman had apparently been dancing when a quarrel developed between the two, resulting in the fatal injury.
Grief-stricken relatives and friends of Raman packed the courtroom.
Raman’s family has also urged anybody who witnessed what happened to come forward. His cousin, Lisa Raman, said: “We need justice. My cousin’s killer cannot walk free.”
Cara will appear in court again on Thursday.

TWENTY-YEAR-OLD Sherwin Cara of Northdale, who is charged in connection with the death of cricketer Juran “Lorenzo” Raman (21) at the Cafe Vacca Matta nightclub at the weekend, will remain in custody for seven days pending further police investigations.
Cara made a fleeting appearance in front of a packed public gallery in the magistrate’s court yesterday before magistrate Bessie du Preez, and he was not asked to enter a plea.
His advocate, Martin Krog, did not oppose the state’s request that he be remanded in custody pending his next appearance on April 7.
The court was told that the state is opposed to Cara’s release on bail on the grounds that the charge he faces is serious, that the safety of witnesses has to be verified and that police are still conducting investigations to establish if he is linked to other offences.
Members of Raman’s family told The Witness they were devastated by their loss. Juran Raman’s mother, Lolly, did not attend the court hearing as she was too traumatised, said one of her sisters, Pam Peters.
“She couldn’t face it. All of us cannot come to terms with it … my nephew was a person who would not hurt a fly.”
Family members carried a poster bearing photographs of the victim and placards proclaiming, “No bail for a ruthless killer”, and “We want justice”.
Cara handed himself over to police on Wednesday following headlines over the alleged stabbing incident which occurred on the dance floor of the nightclub at the Golden Horse Casino.
Raman was allegedly stabbed in the neck, apparently with broken glass, while dancing with a girl. He was admitted to St Anne’s hospital but died a few hours later, on Sunday morning.
The motive is still unclear.
It was initially reported by police that he was believed to have fallen on to broken glass, but they later confirmed that he had been stabbed twice in the neck.

A MAN charged with the murder of 20-year-old Juran Lorenzo Raman at a Pietermaritzburg nightclub was yesterday granted bail of R5 000 in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court on condition that he relocate to Joburg.
Sherwin Cara is only allowed to come to Pietermaritzburg on the days when he is due to appear in court.
Cara is alleged to have murdered Raman, 20, at the Vacca Matta nightclub at the Golden Horse Casino on March 27.
Raman, a former Maritzburg College pupil, who had played for the Cosmos Cricket Club and was pursuing plans to join the Dolphins cricket team, had been stabbed twice in the neck. He died in hospital.
It is believed he had been dancing when a quarrel developed between him and Cara, resulting in the fatal injury.
The State did not oppose Cara’s bail as his details had been verified and there was no risk that he would not stand trial.
Magistrate Bessie du Preez said that his release on bail would not interfere with the course of justice. She ordered that Cara not intimidate or interfere with any of the State’s witnesses in the case.
The State was awaiting DNA results.
The matter was adjourned until May 26.

11. River Aire Railings Campaign
After another sad loss of a life in the freezing waters of the River Aire it's time we called for our local council to erect safety railings along the banks of the River Aire and all River walk's used by pedestrians.
Matthew Wilcox, Gavin Terry and most recently Robert Stoner have all lost their lives. THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING
12. Oppose the abolition of the Chief Coroner
Please join CRY’s campaign for justice for families of fit and healthy young people who are dying from undiagnosed but inherited heart conditions.
Every week in the UK, 12 young people (under 35 years) die from undiagnosed heart conditions and CRY believe there are hundreds more ‘broken hearts’ which are not being sent to heart specialists for proper examination due to short-comings in the coroners’ system.
This means other family members are at risk if a genetic heart defect is present; and bereaved families suffer even more heartache from not knowing the true cause of death.
To stop these short-comings, a Chief Coroner must be at the heart of the coroners’ system.
A Bill is going through Parliament NOW which proposes to abolish the role of Chief Coroner for England and Wales and this needs to be stopped.
13. Replace the BC RCMP with Provicial Police Force
The BC Government is in negotiations with the RCMP to renew their contract in 2012.
With all the problems with RCMP officers being charged with criminal offenses and being suspended with pay for years while it works it's way through the courts and then through internal RCMP discipline committees the BC Government and the people have no say in in the mandate of the RCMP only Ottawa has jurisdiction, it's time to replace them with a provincial and municipal force.
14. Stop BC RCMP renewal contract without public consultation
The BC Government is in negotiations with the RCMP to renew their contract for policing in 2012.
With past performance of RCMP officers being charged with criminal offenses and rising they are reassigned to desk duty or to sit at home with full pay until all court cases have been dealt with, most cases take years and if convicted they then go through a RCMP internal review (1 year at least)before discipline If any!
There is another petition to oust the RCMP altogether from BC,

15. A86 Barriers between Roy Bridge and Tulloch
Every week, during ALL driving conditions, people lose their cars, and sometimes their lives on the short stretch of road between Roy Bridge and Tulloch.
These accidents could be reduced with some strategically placed barriers.
16. Stop cigarette smokers outside building on public footpaths
There are zero personal or societal benefits from smoking cigarettes.
22,000 Australians die each year from tobacco-related disease, which is over TEN times the amount of people killed in Australian road related incidences.
Smoking is banned now from most public places, except every time non smokers pass an office building in Melbourne city they have to avoid the disgusting mass of smokers who gather around the bins and seats squeezing in another ciggy like their life depended on it.
What their live's actually depend on is not having that cigarette all.
Every time a smoker gathers with their smoking buddies outside a public building, they are telling each other that it is OK to:
- inhale cancer creating substances into their lungs; and
- support the Government collecting $6.7 billion dollars in tobacco related taxes.
For non smokers it real is gross. For people stopping, it is another obstacle; and for addicts, it is one more place where they get feed back that it is ok to smoke.
Clearing footpaths of cigarette smoking is one more step to helping everyone.
17. Support Research and Funding into Heart Defects
Following the deaths Charlie & Kian Jones from a congenital heart defect (CHD) called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), the Charlie Jones Foundation was established.
They endeavour to raise awareness into HLHS and to also fundraise for our local PICU.
CHD's a the number one killer in babies and many often go undetected until the child dies and a post mortem is carried out. There is hardly any research into heart defects in this country yet the Government plough money into cancer research when statistics show that the highest number of infant and child deaths is due to a heart defect and not cancer.
18. We Need A Fence On Our Highways To Protect Our People From Hitting Large Animals Like Mooses
THERE IS ALOT THAT COULD BE SAID HERE... BUT JUST JUDGING ON WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ON FACEBOOK I DECIDED TO START A PETITION.... WE ARE TAXPAYERS & WE SHOULD HAVE A SAY ON HOW OUR TAX MONEY IS SPENT...... THIS WOULD BE A WISE INVESTMENT!
JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF AN ACCIDENT....
Shediac RCMP (District 4 South East) are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred Saturday on Highway 11 in Shediac Bridge.
RCMP said a passenger vehicle travelling in the southbound lane collided with a moose around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The driver, a 29-year-old man from Dieppe died at the scene of the crash. His wife, a 26-year-old woman from Dieppe was rushed to hospital in critical condition. She later died in hospital on October 3, 2010. The only survivor from the crash was their 2 year-old son who sustained minor injuries.
An RCMP re-constructionist was called to investigation the crash. The investigation is ongoing.

19. There is No Honor in Killing - Stop the Honor Killings
Honor killings are an embarrassment to humanity.
Fellow human beings are being assassinated in the most inhumane methods. Daughters and wives are being brutally tortured, stoned, and murdered by their own families, all in the name of "honor." This widespread epidemic of such atrocious acts fueled by fundamentalist thinking—dating back to pagan times—is inexcusable. Honor killings are often supported, overlooked, and undermined by authorities and persons of influence.
These murders are committed not just in Muslim countries but around the world, with alarmingly increasing rates on such continents as Europe and North America, which contain some of the most advanced countries of the 21st Century. It is a shame to all humanity that women (and some men) are subject to such barbaric crimes—threatened, tortured in agony, dying the most gruesome deaths.
Statistics Related to Honor Killing:
- 93% of honor killings worldwide are committed against women
- 91% of honor killings are committed by Muslims
- 81% of honor killings committed in Western civilizations are for being “too Western”
- 81% of female victims of honor killing 25 years or younger are murdered by their family of origin
- 68% of women who are victims of honor killing are gruesomely tortured
- Approximately 50% of honor killings are committed by multiple perpetrators

20. Deaf People Denounce Seattle Police for Killing
On August 30, 2010, a partly Deaf Native American man, John T. Williams, was shot and killed by Officer Ian Birk of the Seattle police, after Williams was seen crossing Boren Avenue at Howell Street with a folding 3-inch carving knife and wooden board.

John T. Williams, courtesey of Chief Seattle Club
Williams was standing 9 to 10 feet away when Officer Birk, a rookie officer with just two years of experience, stopped his cruiser, got out, and shouted orders at him to drop the knife three times before he fatally shot Williams in the chest four times. The confrontation lasted less than 1 minute.
Williams was of the Ditidaht First Nation, a member nation of the Nuu-Chah-Nulth, and came from a long line of Indigenous American artists in the First Nations who carved wood. It is legal in Seattle to carry a 3 inch knife or shorter. Williams sold his small totem carvings at the Pike Place Market. It was widely known in the local community that Williams was deaf in one ear and had great difficulty in communicating with people. He was known to wear headphones or ear buds.
After initial reports that Williams advanced on Officer Birk, the Seattle Police Department said they could no longer be sure that had occurred and Williams had not moved threateningly towards Officer Birk.
The Seattle Police Department is now investigating but has released no information. The Seattle Police Department has been facing controversy in the aftermath of some recent brutality cases (cops abused a Hispanic suspect & called him “Mexican piss”, another incident where Seattle cops punched a 17 years old girl for jaywalking, not to mention 5 deaths in 1 week caused by Seattle cops).
Here are some important facts:
1. Williams was shot four times in the chest, which is brutal, excessive force.
2. The confrontation lasted less than 1 minute.
3. Officer Birks reacted too quickly.
4. Williams was killed in the afternoon in broad daylight at 4.30 pm.
5. Williams was partly deaf and unable to understand Officer Birk’s orders from 9 to 10 feet away.
6. It has been a long-lasting established tradition for Native Americans to be carving wood on the streets of Seattle, which has a large Indigenous population. It’s not unusual for Native Americans to carry knives around in Seattle.
William’s sudden, tragic death at the hands of the Seattle Police Department is a serious reminder that any Deaf person’s life could be in danger should a situation with the police ever arise.
21. Establish a Global Domestic Violence Registry Database
Just as sex offenders and child molesters have to register in various states - why shouldn't domestic violence offenders?
There needs to be a global database of ANYone regardless of their sex (male or female), race, religion, etc, who is guilty of committing a domestic violence crime. Ideally as soon as an interim Peace or Protective Order and as late as actual convictions and/or jail time.
All crimes associated with domestic violence should be included. This are - but are not limited to: phone misuse, assault, battery, verbal threats, stalking, etc.
There are entirely too many victims and deaths caused by domestic violence and abuse.
22. Justice for Michael Jackson
Michael Joseph Jackson was an American entertainer best known for his moonwalk. He was born on August 29, 1958 and died at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009. Michael died of an overdose of the sedative drug propafol administered by docter Conrad Murray.
Murray administered the drug to Jackson without taking proper precautions and ended up killing Michael Jackson. Over a year after Michael's death, there is still no justice for Michael, I think that Murray should face the fans and take what's coming to him.
Today Murray goes to trial again with a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Lets Put him BEHIND BARS!
23. SAY NO to the "Mosque by Ground Zero"
We WANT the Mayor of NYC to closely investigate the funding of the Mosque by Ground Zero.
We WANT a FULL background research on ANYONE that is affiliated with this MOSQUE.
24. Return Valentina back to the USA from Italy
Please sign our petition, to get my friend back to the USA. Valentina, has been a US resident for over 20 years. She MARRIED TO A US CITIZEN & went back to ITALY, to save her mother's life. Upon her return, she was deported back to Italy, being told her visa is expired.
PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION, SO WE CAN GET HER BACK TO THE USA! The more signatures we have, the better the chance, we have to get her back to the US!
EchoGreen has been around for years with an intention to Do Something. We are a growing group of writers, musicians, singer songwriters, artists, media producers and web consultants. It's been a long time coming, the need is here.
Recently, as oil leaks into our oceans and we have images of tar rain pouring onto our bodies, homes, vehicles, animals and gardens, we cry for the dolphins, as it rains and we decide, the time is now.
EchoGreen will be sponsoring several petitions with the voice of those who are at one with the earth and its ways in the old way mixed with the new way.
The old way being, feeling the vibration of the earth and the beings, in other words, feeling their life, their voices and their feelings reverberate through our beings, while hearing the voice of the earth as if it is speaking our language and an animate object. Earth is an animate object, we often, have just lost our ability to hear what it has to say. She/it/he is talking to many of us at once. And we have something to say via our translations.
Whereas the new way is through media, through business, through the grid and the economy of the West, speaking out to the people who can make the difference because they have the economy and consumption at their fingertips.
We are the people, we are the change, we are the ones we have been waiting for and we are here. Let's take it for the big one, let's do what we can. Let's petition to businesses, to governments, to presidents, to the people. Let's make our voices loud and clear and let's take a stand.
We live, we eat, we release our waste, we breath, we love, we think, we feel, we dance, we laugh and we play, just as we all do or want to do.
It's time to do this without hurting the earth and others. What can we do? Whatever it is, you know inside you. Start by signing and making petitions and sending them to companies, making them popular. Campaigns are big and our voice can be heard. Do it from the heart and with integrity. Do it with true knowledge about what is best. For instance, how can we be mobile yet not consume oil? How can we receive food yet not have it inefficiently trucked across America? How can we save the seeds and not spread disease? How can we be healthy happy and harmonious?
We can do it. Let's do it, one at a time, before we can no longer breath, eat or stand.
26. Put a stop to riding in the bed of a truck Unrestrained
In the event of a vehicle crash, any occupants riding in the bed unrestrained will be ejected and this greatly increases the likelihood of traumatic injuries and even death.
It should be forbidden completely to ride in the bed of a truck, without properly being restrained, on public roads to take the mystery or confusion out of this very dangerous activity.
You can purchase seating for the bed of your truck at BedRyder.com, these seat are legal and with keep your passengers safe.
27. Support "Presumed Consent" Law for Organ Donation
Support "Presumed Consent" Law for Organ Donation.
A Petition for the Government to change Legislation to "Opt-out" and Save Lives
28. Torremolinos; Stop Trying To Starve Cats To Death
My U.K. charity, Paws in Need (registration 1110537) has spent many thousands of euros in Torremolinos (Andalucia) neutering abandoned cats. We have managed to find homes for some of them but many have to still live on the street.
We are obliged to provide food for their survival or else they will die a slow and agonizing death from starvation. Yet now a sign has been put up by a resident in Calle Brasil and by a resident at La Roca telling us not to feed the cats. An administrator at Pueblo Blanco has reported our helper to the sanitation department for feeding starving cats and a man with a dog waits outside at night to try to prevent the cats being fed .I am also aware various ayuntamentos in this area try to stop people feeding the cats. The cats and our helpers are under constant threat from cat haters whom the mayor supports by his attitude, and babaric by-laws giving us, and the cats, no protection or support.
This however is wrong on several points.
1) It inflicts extreme cruelty onto animals many of whom were dumped by people in that area;
2) It violates human rights and freedom by forcing people to violate their environmental beliefs. If they believe they can not leave hungry animals to die a slow painful death they are being forced to violate those beliefs.
29. Coronial Juridiction for still-born babies
The Coroner cannot investigate any deaths of babies in utero - stillborn babies. No matter the circumstances or gestational age, a baby in one moment is not eligible for a Coronial Inquest and, a moment later (once a breath is taken), he or she is. Impact to parents, families and society is the same for a baby that is capable of independent life no matter whether a breath is taken. The Coroner's influence and powers is needed just the same: to investigate; to hold accountable; to bring awareness; to change. It is the institution that shines light on deaths of an unusual or concerning nature and recommends changes so these events don’t happen in the future.
Importantly, the number of stillbirth deaths has not changed, despite improvement in medical practice and technology, since the 1980s. And 30-35% of babies born still are said to have died of ‘causes unknown’. The Coroner’s Court can potentially help understand these deaths and ultimately motivate change.
So we seek a change to the Coroner’s Act so that these babies’ deaths can be under the jurisdiction of the Coroner’s Court.
30. President Obama, You And Your Family Should Stop Eating Animal Flesh
Raising animals for food is one of the largest sources of carbon dioxide and the single largest source of both methane and nitrous oxide emissions. Removing animal flesh from the food chain may be the only realistic, viable, manageable, enforceable, and effective government solution needed to slow global warming, and to ultimately play the largest role in stopping it.
The human race cannot run away from or escape the consequences of global warming!!
