To remove the charitable status of the Iona Institute in Ireland. The Iona Institute's views clearly discriminate against homosexuals as parents. They clearly discriminate against women having autonomy of their own bodies. Surely a 'charity' should be inclusive of all people and assist others. Who have the Iona Institute helped as a charity in recent years? How do they use donations received as a charitable organisation?
We, the undersigned, call on the members of the Dáil to remove the charitable status of the Iona Institute as we believe they discriminate unfairly against certain sections of Irish society contravening the aims of the Irish human rights commission.
