Other Occupy protests have had death, assault, prostitution, drugs, rape, and concealed firearms tied to it. 2. Remove the Vancouver Canucks from the NHL 
I am fed up with the Vancouver Canucks. I would like to see them removed from the NHL as soon as possible.
They will never win the Stanley Cup and they are a disgrace to all hockey fans. They choke in the playoffs year after year after year.
They are a bad representation for the city of Vancouver and for the country of Canada.
3. Removal of Fluoride from the municipality of Red Deer
People should have the right to choose whether or not to be exposed to fluoride. Unfortunately many of us were never given that choice. Today it is almost impossible to escape fluoride. It is in the fountain pop at the drive thru, at your local coffee shop, bottled and draft beer, you get the idea. At home we cook, shower and bath in it, its ridiculous!
Now the thing you might find interesting is where does the fluoride come from? The fluoride used in our drinking water is an industrial waste product from the aluminum and phosphate fertilizer industry. It is an unprocessed contaminated waste with a number of toxins, particularly arsenic. This type of fluoride has never Been Tested for safety and effectiveness. However it has been very effective as rat poison and cockroach powder.
So why do we put this in our water? The answer is simple, money. But not money for us, or our community, money for the corporations. By promoting it as a some kind of dental miracle they are able to eliminate their waste and make a profit at the same time. But does it benefit our teeth? New evidence suggests that fluoridation is either unnecessary or doesn't work. Cavities have declined at similarly impressive rates throughout the entire western, industrialized world over the past half century where there was no fluoridation.

Some Harmful effects of fluoride include.
Diminished IQ'S, hypothyroidism, increase in hip fractures, increase in infertility, cancer, abnormal bone development, skeletal fluorosis, dental fluorosis.
Fluoride is not meant to be swallowed, if you look on your tooth paste it will advise you to contact poison control if accidentally swallowed. Why is it okay to drink it then? It is an accumulated poison, so while you may not see the effects right now, there is a good chance you may experience them later. The choice is clear, remove it from our water, and those who still want fluoridation are still free to do so.

4. Make police work volunteer work
Too often people are wrongfully accused of crimes they never committed. Some police officers charge people with crimes for the mere reason to make sure they are punished for something.
If police work were to become volunteer work, the police force would have less "crooked cops" and more police officers looking only to do the right thing, and less police racial profiling.
5. Remove All Non Rock or Blues Members of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, since its opening, has constantly inducted artists that don't belong. Cher, Donna Summer, Run DMC, and Michael Jackson, just to name a few. Doesn't matter whether they're great or not. They're not Rock. That's why this needs to be fixed. Put them in the Pop, Rap, or Disco Hall of Fame, if there is one.
Blues gave birth to Rock, so Blues belongs. So, any member of The Rock Hall that is not an influential musician of the Rock or Blues genres, they will be removed. And, from now on, the people pick the inductees. And, they must be influential musicians of Rock or Blues genre. NO EXCEPTIONS!

With the recent patch of 1.09 to HaloCE, what claimed to "patch for server crashing buffer overrun attacks. in addition to correcting the security issues this patch also corrects some 64bit issues with IE updates". But with the "great" update, we lost the function of Developer Mode. Dev is loved by all; Noobs, professionals and those who just like messing around. Some players cant even run the game without receiving errors such as "No Memory" or "Cannot find file strings.dll" when the file is in the right place.
For those who want to get a message to Bungie Developers and hopefully re-patch to allow the use of DevMode, or allow us to downpatch and just fix the issues altogether. Put your name here. Wayne County High School is using curriculum (required/optional reading) that has vulgar language, "Adult" subject matter, and explicitly sexual language: "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini.

Andrew Jackson drove thousands of Native Americans from their home land. Thousands died on their way to their relocation.
Jackson put money into pet banks instead of the Bank of The United States causing an economic meltdown. Men like this should not be on our currency.
9. Keep the Name of Edward Cornwallis on Halifax Landmarks, and his Statue Standing
On August, 16, 2008 Cheryl LeBlanc-Weldon, started a Petition, to remove the name of Edward Cornwallis, founder of Halifax, from Halifax landmarks, and a school, she also requested the removal of Edward Cornwallis's Statue in Halifax.
She accuses Edward Cornwallis of Genocide, a blatant lie. In 1751 the Mik'maq people massacred the citizens of Dartmouth, innocent women and children. Following this attrocity, Edward Cornwallis offered a bounty of ten pounds sterling, for Mik'maq scalps, in retribution of the attrocity comited by the Mik'maq people. This act was for the protection of the British citizens of Canada.

12. Concerned Parents of Vickers
Vickers Elementary is the host campus to the Children from The Devereux
Facility and the A.B.L.E program.
The children from the Devereux facility are bused to the campus from
Devereux. In the past they were taught at their campus and then at the school
near by their campus. Many of these children were removed from their home
due to special needs and have behavior problems.
The children in the A.B.L.E program are from all the campuses in VISD. Vickers
is the campus for the children in 4th and 5th grade who have been removed
from their classrooms at their school. They have been removed due to their
behavior problems and are sent to other campuses depending on their grade
level. The 4th and 5th grade children are being sent to Vickers under the
A.B.L.E program because they can not function in the classroom at their school
due to their behavior but are being placed in the classrooms with the Vickers
Students.
The children are causing education disruptions as well as threatening the safety
of the other children. Many children have left the campus because they are
fearful of going to class. Not all children have the ability to leave the campus.
We are asking that the Superintendent and the VISD school board address the
concerns of the parents of Vickers students.
1. Remove the children in these programs from the classrooms and/or from the
campus.
2. Hold a meeting ASAP to discuss what will be done to address the concerns of
the parents.
13. Clean Up JCP
As of December 19 we associates at JCPenney are making a plea due to inequity in task demands with direct relation to the most senior associate 0856 - referred to, heron, as Hanan.
We, additionally, are citing her inappropriate conduct, and offensive behaviors, as reason for our plea to remove or transfer her from our department.
The tasks referred to above include refusal to maintain a clean and organized stockroom, while utilizing the room, in addition to not maintaining display organization standards on the sales floor, while selling. Disorganization occurs only due to customers removal of shoes and their understandable ineptness at replacing them.
This task load is most often placed upon the other employees (ourselves), often of later shifts. The rule at JCP is for each associate to clean up after his or her own customers', replace the boxes to their specific locations in the back room, and to restore neatness to ALL displays used in the associates own shift--hence, the reason for establishing commission incentives for shoe sales!
Furthermore, Hanan has made it impossible to discuss the issues with her directly. Interpersonal behaviors demonstrated by her have been of extreme negative value to ourselves and Family Shoes at JCPenney. These negative behaviors have included rebukes, insults, use of insensitive religious references, manipulation of new and longstanding associates and their commissions. These are considered considerably egregious acts by all fair standards.
Our repeated, verbally presented, requests to management and other supervisors have gone unheard.

1. Remove all Federal Gas Tax - This would remove a lot of congressional spending waste and "pork-barrel". This tax was initiated to create our federal interstates in 1932! And is no longer needed yet Congress continues to take the tax and spend the money generated on everything except building interstates. We feel this would begin to ease the burden on the consumer.
The Federal Tax on gas is currently 18.4 cents per gallon which adds approx. $3.50 per tank of gas.

2. Allow ANWAR and Other Areas to be drilled for Oil - Currently we have more Oil available for drilling than the Middle East Countries combined however, a minority group of environmentalists have been able to scare the U.S. Government and take the U.S. Public hostage by not allowing us to utilize our own natural resources. Because of this policy we have become hostage to Radical Religious Fanatics and dependant on Countries which wish our destruction (remember 9/11).
Currently the Chinese, among others are drilling for oil just a few miles off the coast of Florida however, the U.S. is forbidden to drill there because of the Far Left Wing Environmentalists! We are loosing our resources to other countries because of our unbelievable policies which, it's sad to say, even other countries find incomprehensible.
Even Fidel Castro says he may start drilling there and we can't! That means that a Chinese company is or will be drilling for oil and gas within 50 miles of the U.S. coast even though under U.S. policy American energy companies are barred from drilling along most areas of the U.S. coast.
The Saudi crown prince was quoted a while back stating that they "would never use oil as a weapon". Just stating that alone, should be warning enough that we cannot afford to wait, we need to take action NOW! Nobody knows for certain how much oil there is in ANWAR, except that most in the know believe there is a lot. It will take about two years to get the first quart of crude flowing south. We need to start drilling right now, in the hope that we will have it when we need it.
It seems pretty unreasonable not to have the ability to utilize our own resource here, especially in view of the true environmental cost which really is zero. The reality is that only 2000 - of 6 million acres - (one half of one percent) of the wildlife refuge would be impacted, and as seen with the pictures of wildlife all around the existing pipeline the facts show the wildlife is not effected.

3. Remove Oil from the Commodities Market - Oil like Electricity is a NEED, not a luxury. One other point: Oil Speculation hurts the U.S. however, it hurts even the more the poorer nations of the world and should be stopped if for no other reason than that.

18. Removal of No Parking Signs on Woodhaven
January 26, 2006
This petition is here to remove the no parking signs on Woodhaven Circle.
The reason for this petition is in response to the amount of parking currently available. There is hardly a sufficient amount of parking spaces for the number of tenants that reside in the Jacob Heights Townhouse Development. This parking issue causes a number of problems for the tenants that live in the Jacob Heights Townhouses along with residents of Mankato that don't live there.
The first problem created from these no parking signs is resident parking. The problem arises due to the fact that there are four tenants living in each unit in Jacob Heights. There is no possible parking configuration utilizing the garage and driveway that will allow any single tenant to leave at anytime. This is the first reason why parking on Woodhaven is requested. A lot of the residents living here are college students.
Everyone has busy class and work schedules and being blocked in your driveway by a roommate not home is not a valid excuse for a professor or employer. The second major problem created from the no parking signs on Woodhaven is in regards to visitors and guests. If all tenants are home there are no available parking spots nearby for guests. This makes is very difficult to meet with friends, family, coworkers, and classmates in the Jacob Heights Development.
There are currently 42 units in the Jacob Heights Townhouse Development. There is also an additional 24 units under construction. This means that the current problem is only going to get worse unless the city of Mankato does something about it. Enclosed is a list of Mankato residents who all agree with the complaints stated above. The residents of Mankato demand action. There are obviously plenty of solutions to the current dilemma.
If authorized parking signs are required for the public street of Woodhaven Circle then possibly permit only signs could replace the no parking signs. Another solution is to build another public parking lot across from the Jacob Heights Townhouses.
19. Keep Ace Bridges in Maxwell

Ace Bridges is a Staffordshire terrier, which is a breed of pit bull. Ace is not a harmful dog, although he has been labeled one because of his breed. He has been around other dogs, big and small. He has been around children and adults. He has never harmed anyone, Ace doesn't even bark.
This dog is all his owner, Gerald Bridges, has. Gerald knows that this dog is not vicious and he does not want to give him up, but the city is asking him to remove Ace or else they will forcefully remove the dog from Gerald's home and have Ace put down.
As a fellow citizen, I am telling you that there is no need for this dog to be removed from within city limits. This is the calmest dog I have ever seen. I am asking you to sign this petition in hopes to let Gerald Bridges keep Ace in his home.

We ask that you allow Mahmad Salim Yadun, a Mauritian man, to stay in the UK with his wife, Lynda, who is a British Citizen. They met in 2001 when he moved from London to Aberdeen to work. Salim has been in the UK for nearly 14 years, however the Home Office wants to remove Salim to Mauritius and have him re-apply for entry clearance to the UK from there. Here is a brief timeline of events:
Sept 1992: Salim arrives in London from Mauritius.
June 1997: Asylum is denied. Solicitor advises Salim to wait for "due process" to take effect.
1997 onwards: Solicitor continues to write to Home Office - NO REPLY.
July 2001: Salim moves to Aberdeen to work.
Aug 2001: Lynda & Salim start dating.
20 May 2002: Lynda and Salim marry.
June 2002: Application lodged for Salim to stay through marriage to Lynda.
23 Mar 2003: Both Salim and Lynda interviewed by Immigration Office at Aberdeen Airport. Salim advised that he is to be deported and that Lynda "could reasonably be expected to live in Mauritius". Lynda has worked for a major oil company for over 20 yrs and would not be able to obtain same type of job in Mauritius. Salim's Passport is retained by Immigration at Aberdeen Airport. From that day, Salim has to sign in at Police Station every Monday.
During the 13 years he has lived in the UK, Salim has been allowed to work and has paid his taxes. He has been self-sufficient and of no burden, whatsoever, to the State. He has no criminal record and is not involved with any political or other organisation that is against the public interest. He has done voluntary work for charity (Transportforall.com) and has promoted interest in dancing, as he and Lynda taught a modern jive dance class together for several months. There is a shortage of Salim's job skills in the UK oil industry.
To remove Salim from the UK and have him re-apply for entry clearance from Mauritius, would cost the UK Tax Payers thousands of pounds. And what about Lynda? Surely, she has a right to have her husband here with her in the UK? They have been married for over 3½ years now. The stress that Salim and Lynda have been under is unimaginable. Salim has been displaced from Mauritius for so long - the UK is now his home.

Not only has AOL been disrespecting it's PAYING customers by taking features such as AIM and Journals and GIVING IT AWAY FOR FREE, they have further begun selling, trading, sharing and/or giving away ad space and displaying the ads in the form of banner ads atop PAYING AOL members Personal Journals, without thought or regard as to whether the Person who created the Journal supports the banner even being there, nor if she or she is in agreement with the ad.
PAYING AOL members respectfully wish AOL to IMEDIATELY REMOVE the banner ads from Paid member Journals.

There is often a mobile police camera unit situated at the traffic lights at the entrance to Heron Drive on Parlaunt Road, Langley, Slough.
This camera parks but no speed camera warning signs are displayed on Parlaunt Road.
24. We Want a Lidl Store in the Drogheda Area
Lidl To Open In Drogheda Immediately If RGDATA Were To Remove Their Appeal.
The Lidl discount food store has made a commitment to commence construction of their store at the new M1 Retail Park if RGDATA were to withdraw their appeal.
The people of Drogheda could have to wait for a further six months before receiving a decision from An Bord Pleanala.
After receiving the approval form Drogheda Borough Council on the 7th July last the people of the town were so disappointed to find out that RGDATA could prevent Lidl from opening in Drogheda like this."
Lidl who's closest store would be in Balbriggan is due to open in Ardee and Dundalk within the next three months leaving Drogheda the largest town in the country without a store yet again. The company confirmed through survey's carried out on its Balbriggan store that over 40% of its business was from Drogheda showing a high level of leakage from the town.
Who are RGDATA you ask?
RGDATA- Supervalu / Spar / Centre / Londis / Mace and Cost Cutters are all local members of this organisation.
Considerable pressure is mounting on local RGDATA representatives to remove the appeal lodged against Lidl granting of planning permission.
RGDATA have stated that this is a Board policy to object and lodged appeals on all applications for discount food stores that are not located in town centres throughout the Country. Why can RGDATA who supposedly represent the smaller food stores try and delay or even prevent the development of a Lidl store in Drogheda after its has the backing of the Council Planners, Councillors and the people.
Rogers has put a 60GB D/L and U/L cap on paying customers. Customers payed an extra 100CAD for a new modem, which now is completely useless. People payed for a high connection and no cap, but now it has changed. Many people have recently signed contratcs with Rogers, BEFORE the cap was notified to members. Is this fair? It's a set up.
We paid for no cap, and now there is one in place. Help us get our cap removed, since it is OUR money and should be use accordingly!
26. Demanding that Verizon remove the utility box recently installed on the corner of Pine St. & Congers
We are demanding that Verizon remove the utility box that they recently installed on a utility pole on the corner of Pine St. & Congers Rd. The continual presence of several utility trucks servicing this box and the already existing existy telephone utility box is creating a safety hazard for our children and a traffic hazard for all resident s who use Pine Street to access tgeur home.
We understand the nessecity of this new improvement, but feel a better and much safer place for this utility box would be elsewhere other than the corner of Pine Street and Congers Rd. This corner is already a bad corner for vehicle traffic. The island opposite Pine St. on the southeast side of Congers Rd. would be a much more safer placement for this utility box. Safer for our children, residential traffic and safer for Verizon workers.
27. Remove the Barriers on Sussex Drive
Since 9/11, concrete barriers (which block a full lane of traffic on each side), have been placed in front of and behind the U.S. embassy in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. These barriers, along with local construction projects have created a serious traffic problem in that area.
The time has come to remove these barriers and allow traffic to flow freely once more.

30. Remove the 254 Character Rule For AOL Signatures
AOL will not allow signatures and a lot of other text to be more than 254 characters. Tons of people believe this rule should be removed. There should be at least an expantion of the number of characters for signartures, etc. Possibly, there could be an unlimited amount of characters. Take a stand and sign this petition.
