We are trying to organize a rally in order to bring awareness towards the subjects of sexual assault and rape that everyone in Kuwait has heard about in recent times. Many girls, aged 12-16, have been, harassed, raped, sexually assaulted, and threatened to have personal pictures published to the public by one person whom we're all familiar with at this point. I call for your help and support, students, academics, parents and elderly; this issue must not slide, it is time that we stand against sexual assault and rape, once and for all! I ask for unity, so that make sure that this never happens again. If we get enough petitions, a rally will be organized with a date and location.
We, the signatories of this petition, beseech and encourage the institutions and mechanisms concerned to take the necessary measures regarding Sexual Harassment and Rape. At the same time, we acknowledge the authorities for their involvement and commitment.
