The purpose of the United States constitution is to limit government intrusion into citizens' lives.
Treaties have the authority to take away any "guaranteed" right granted in the constitution of the United States.
No treaty made by the United States will have the authority to override any rights guaranteed to the citizens of the United States in the Bill of Rights.
This amendment will override the authority granted to the federal government of the United States under Article VI Section II.
