1. America Needs You ASAP! The Iranian Deal Must Be Checked By Article II, Section II, Clause II - Demand It! Deal To Be Reached By March 24 - By Janine Turner & Juliette Turner

Here are our thoughts as to why we believe this petition is urgently important.
----Janine Turner & Juliette Turner

Your ancestry and the Founding Fathers feared the unchecked autocracy of a king, a tyrant, a dictator—or even an American president—that allowed one man to risk, and possibly ruin, the safety, liberty, and sovereignty of the people. They not only believed but knew first hand that fallible human weakness inherent in a leader, made ruthless by the quest for power and unquenchable vanity, could and would leave the people vulnerable and violated if left unchecked.

The Founding Fathers left a way to check and balance such tyrannical behavior. It was simply and specifically written in America’s founding document, the United States Constitution. Yet, this world acclaimed and historically proven document is only viable if you insist it be. If no resistance is met then silent, slippery usurpations blend into precedents upon which Presidents prey.

One such violation is happening before your very eyes—the current Iranian negotiations and impending deal. This “deal,” a treaty by another name, is supposed to be read, checked, debated, and vetted by your representatives in the United States Senate. Article II, Section II, Clause II of the Constitution states, “He (President) shall have power, by and with the advice and Consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two-thirds present concur.” In other words, the President cannot make a deal with another country and impose it upon you without your approval which flows through your duly elected Senator.

President Obama, however, is banking on the hope that you, and the majority of the American people, do not know the United States Constitution. Apathetic ignorance is the trump card which enables him to slide the Iranian deal into effect without being accountable to anyone.

My friends, this action, no matter what the precedent or the title of the deal, is a blatant infringement upon your democratic rights and the results could be disastrous – literally. Both President Obama and his administration will argue that the “deal” is technically not a “treaty.” (Merriam Webster defines the word treaty, “an official agreement that is made between two or more countries or groups.”) The Obama administration deceptively calls the negotiations the “Iranian deal,” even though it is “an official agreement that is being made between two or more countries” – the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France & Germany and Iran.

Alexander Hamilton in Federalist 69, which defines Article II, Section II, Clause II, refers to treaties as such that involve peace, commerce, alliance and every other description. The definition of the Iranian deal certainly falls into these categories.

President Obama’s unilateral attempt to execute the impending “Iranian deal” upon you without approval of the Senate is deplorable and apocalyptically dangerous. Even more stunning is the lack of revolt by the press, the people, and the Congress. Everyone’s focus is on the contents of the deal and the implications of the deal, not on how to stop the deal from being implemented.

Everyone except for Senator Lindsey Graham. Senator Graham is putting forth a bill that insists on the Iranian deal being subjected to an up or down vote in the Senate. Though I respect and admire Senator Lindsey Graham immensely and applaud him for doing so, there are two flaws to this method: a) it is not necessary – Senate approval is already a law under our United States Constitution; b) it allows the President to veto the bill, which then paralyzes debate, approval, and recourse.

The mechanism already exists: Article II, Section II, Clause II. It simply has to be enforced. No excuse or ready precedent or supposed air tight definitive can usurp the due protection you are entitled by this current Constitutional law of the land. Only your silence can accomplish this. Stand up and take back your voice. You have the right. You have the law. You have the opportunity. Call your Senator today. Insist that the Constitutional law be followed: that the Iranian deal stand the scrutiny of the Senate as prescribed in Article II, Section II, Clause II.

Facebook, Twitter, e-mail your friends. Your time has come. Petition. You must not forfeit your rights, your safety - your Constitution - because you have succumbed to the abetted belief that you can make no difference. Ring the warning bell. Be a Paul Revere.

Be a part of the collective wisdom of the people. Americans rule together; Americans must be heard. Your time is now. Patrick Henry says it best,

"They tell us sir that we are weak – unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have us bound hand and foot?"

Rally for your rights and for the enforcement of Article II, Section II, Clause II – before America’s enemies are at your door step.

4. David Cameron should keep his promise and hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty

We want David Cameron to keep his promise and hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty or we will not vote Conservative.

Recently, the chairman of the Conservative Party, David Cameron, has told voters that his party will not be holding a public referendum on the EU Lisbon Treaty, despite his iron-clad promise in 2007 assuring us that one would be held.

It is abhorrent that a major political party has cut we, the British people, out of affairs that would directly affect us. It is the people that make up the UK and without us, the Conservative Party would not even exist. We demand the right to be heard.

5. The Irish Government ran a fraudulent and illegal campaign for the Lisbon Treaty

The facts outlined below will prove that the Lisbon Treaty Referendum of 2/10/09 is Null and Void under Irish and European law. I present two separate points that shall subsequently be proven:

I. Numerous violations of Irish Referendum law and discrepancies that call into question the security and validity of the votes themselves, default the Irish vote to the result of the last Referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.

II. The Irish Government, alongside the European Commission ran a fraudulent and illegal campaign for the Lisbon Treaty Referendum.

7. THE TREATY OF FAITHS

THIS TREATY IS PROTECTED BY U.S. COPYRIGHT TX-16017 & U.S. COPYRIGHT, INTERNAL TRACKING # TX-99399

To ask the U.S. Government to develop a TREATY OF FAITHS. The objective, to join hands with all faiths to tell the world that we are love, and that we recognize our unique beliefs and will attempt to stop judging each other. All Church Leaders should talk to their constituencies and tell them that interfaith judgement should stop, and that tolerance and understanding heal our faiths, heal us, and lead us to understand that we are unique and can work next to each other in love. I would like to see this happen as a Worldwide endeavor, a true Universal occurrence. If we did this, it would be the first in history, and all people would agree to stop persecuting each other due to their Faith, their Spiritual beliefs, or Life choices (Re: Abortion. Ex: to disagree is one thing. To hurt or maim is another.)Churches of all Faiths should state that holding one's beliefs is beloved, but to act upon or judge another based on Faith or Life Choices cannot happen.

WE MUST FACE OUR LOVE.
WE MUST FACE OURSELVES.

WE MUST FACE OUR BELOVED CHURCHES, HOLD HANDS, AND REALIZE WE ARE NOT SO VERY DIFFERENT AFTER ALL. WE MUST SIGN A TREATY TO END JUDGEMENTAL PERSECUTION OF PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH. AND IT MUST BE A TREATY BETWEEN ALL PEOPLES, FORGED IN LOVE, TO BE MAINTAINED KNOWING WE ARE A UNIQUE BEAUTIFUL RACE, AND THAT TRUE RACE IS HUMANITY ITSELF.

If we understand this, and start the petition in the United States, and we set the example, we might also be able to reach out worldwide to find a way to touch all Religious Traditions in love. We will submit this petition to the U.S. Government and ask for GLOBAL RECOGNITION of a TREATY OF FAITHS that will attempt to heal our Nation, heal our people, and, hopefully, eventually, the World itself. Once we have forged the TREATY OF FAITHS, we will ask the U.S. Government to build THE CHURCH OF LOVE in Washington D.C., to set a new precedent for Love in our world. This church would respect all religions, all faiths, and all philosophies. The Church of Love’s true
Philosophy, that Love and the perfection of our own souls be first and foremost, and that love bind and connect all religions in Respect and Beauty. It would support the beliefs of all people, and demonstrate that all people on this earth are born and remain equal. Love is the only True Natural Religion...Rebecca Tacosa Gray, Author/Intellectual Owner

8. We demand a Referendum on the EU Reform Treaty

In 2004, Tony Blair, the then Labour Party leader and British Prime Minister, promised the country a referendum on the EU Constitution.

He did this because the EU Constitution altered Britain’s relationship with the European Union and handed over a massive amount of power to Brussels. In 2005, the Labour Party fought and won a General Election with the referendum pledge contained in their manifesto.

Also in 2005, the EU Constitution was rejected by French and Dutch voters, ensuring the proposed constitution was scrapped.

Now, in place of the failed EU Constitution, EU leaders, including Prime Minister Gordon Brown, have signed a Reform Treaty, which is almost identical to the EU Constitution. It also involves a huge amount of powers being transferred to Brussels. However, the Labour Party has gone back on its referendum pledge of 2005 and is refusing to give the people a vote.

We, the UK Independence Party South Sefton Branch, believe that this is a disgrace and a betrayal of the British people. Therefore we are calling on Bootle’s Labour MP to follow the lead of his Labour colleagues on Merseyside, Frank Field MP and Bob Wareing MP, and support a referendum.

10. WE DEMAND A REFERENDUM ON THE EU TREATY

The current Labour government was elected in 2005 on a manifesto that promised to hold a referendum on the constitution of the EU.

Now the name of the constitution has been changed to Treaty and no referendum is planned.

The consequences of Britain signing up to this treaty will massively influence how this country is run and the electorate have the right to vote.

12. End Impunity: Equal Rights for All Under the Law

In 1998, the United Nations finalized the Rome Statute for the International Criminal Court. The statute guarantees a court to deal with the most atrocious criminals on the planet: those who commit war crimes and crimes against humanity. Even recent events, such as the genocide killings in Rwanda, remind us of the importance of a standard, objective Court of Law. The International Court intends to assume jurisdiction only in countries that have ratified the treaty, and only for the most monstrous crimes. The Criminal Court is potentially the most important institution for human rights in half a century.

However, the United States of America have made it clear that they will not ratify the Rome Statute. In 2002, the United States government informed the United Nations that "the United States does not intend to become a party to the treaty." In fact, they are on a diplomatic mission to create impunity agreements for its nationals from the Criminal Court. Basically, these impunity agreements would prevent any United States national from facing the Criminal Court. It is unfair to give one nationality exemption from law which should be standard all over the world. It is neither the intention of the Court, nor the writers of this petition, to take away power or basic rights from United States citizens. Simply, the court was formed to provide equality under the law and this is impossible with the existence of impunity agreements.

14. Support European Union Enlargement

The people of the Republic of Ireland voted against the Nice Treaty in a referendum on June 7, 2001. The rejection was for a number of complex reasons mainly related fears of being enmeshed in a military alliance or loss of independence to EU institutions. Yet, in the European media we are being portrayed as a selfish nation who don't want to see the economic benefits of EU membership being extended to the East European countries.

16. International Transfer of Offenders Treaty

This petition is on matters concerning the International Transfer of Offenders Treaty. American prison authorities, both federal and state, have for years violated the Transfer of Offender Treaty rights, including the letter of the treaty, with discrimination, denials, injustices, lack of medical treatment, the list is not exhaustive. Our men and women are suffering so much so, that even their family and friends are feeling the atrocities caused by these prison administrators.
