Over a year ago, Gatineau native Jacob Barrette started a petition that ended up with the Sens taking him up on a design team for the new heritage jerseys. However, the jerseys we regularly wear at home and on the road are still a THN.com league worst.
I plan to contact the sens about this after 1000 signatures (Barrette got 1800+), and will include my own concept and three others.

The Otttawa Senators came into the league again in 1992, wearing instant classic jerseys. They have since devolved into a reebok cookie-cutter red disaster. I wanted to keep these factors:
1: A black jersey: All of the best Sens jerseys are black (except the SENS jersey) so I would like to bring that aspect back.
2: Adding gold to the colour scheme would make Ottawa have a unique and distinguished look in the NHL.
3: I wanted to get away from the forward looking logo.
