Target: South Lakeland District Council
Region: United Kingdom
Web site: www.keepulverstonspecial.co.uk
Background (Preamble):
Ulverston is one of the last market towns in England with a working local economy and an independent character. Now this is under threat from a proposed new superstore.
We want to stop this happening. See www.keepulverstonspecial.co.uk for more about our campaign.

Petition:
We demand that South Lakeland District Council rejects the application for a superstore on Robinson’s Brewery Site in Ulverston, Cumbria.
This development would destroy the neighbourhood and historic town centre, bring traffic and parking chaos, and damage our town’s famous shopping and market centre forever.
