Category: Justice
Region: Ireland
Target: Irish Goverment

Petition text:
The Commission into Child Abuse report clearly shows the failure of the Church and State authorities when it came to exercise their responsibility for the care of children in institutions in in the Republic of Ireland throughout most of the 20th century.

To date there has been no justice for these innocent victims.
As an honorable member of Irish society I want to see prosecutions of all those who can be legally brought to justice for these crimes.

I am signing this petition to request that the Government now lives up to their responsibility and show that we, as a nation, demand justice on behalf of these victims.
