The local speed limit of 25mph on Vandebrook Dr in Waterloo, IL is simply to low to allow for a steady and continous flow of traffic at peak times.
I am petitioning to increase this speed limit to 40mph from the beginning of Vandebrook Dr at IL Route 3 to the corner of Vandebrook Dr and Fieldstone Dr.
This petition proposes to increase the local speed limit from 25mph to 40mph on Vandebrook Dr between the intersections of Vandebrook Dr / IL Route 3 and Vandebrook Dr / Fieldstone Dr.
This is viewed as a problem because the current speed limit of 25mph does not allow a continous and steady flow of traffic to and from the Vandebrook/Stonefield subdivisions which will continue to grow.
We, the undersigned, ask that the City of Waterloo take action to remedy this situation immediately.
