The students of PS184 deserve better than to have a playground that is dangerous. We know this because kids get hurt almost everyday. The playground does not provide any type of shade from the sun.
The surface is asphalt and there is adequate equipment for the students to use during recreation times. We want the City of New York to pay attention to us.
Help us redesign and resurface our school yard. Recreation is as important as academics.
The health and well being of students is a key mission of our educators but we have a playground that does not reflect this idea.
We the students of PS184 in Manhattan call on The City of New York and Mayor Bill Deblasio to help us make a safe playground for our school.
