Grant citizenship to persons born in the UK after 1983!

All individuals born in the UK before 1983 (when the law took e€ffect) acquired citizenship automatically, they now had to be born of someone `settled' (i.e. permanently resident) in the country. The only individuals consequently excluded from citizenship were illegal migrants, temporary visitors to the UK and individuals who had not fulfilled the four-year requirement for settled status.

In addition, anyone born and resident in the UK until the age of ten has a right to citizenship. It's been a standing law in the UK imposed by Margaret Thatcher that anyone born in the UK after 1983 shall not be awarded automatic citizenship. I believe this law should be reviewed and changed. I personally am affected by this law. This law is practiced only by the UK in the entire world. How come? Even the United states grants citizenship to all who were born in the US.

I speak for youths all over the world who are asking the same question of the British government as to WHY they have upheld this law. I believe this law needs to be revoked. This would truly show concern on behalf of the British government for the rights of young ones all over the world who were born in the UK and have not yet been granted citizenship.
