Due to the CO-VID19 pandemic, I suggest that Ontarions should be given free fishing licenses. This will reduce the traffic to establishments who sell them, as well as ensure that we can legally fish if these establishments are not open in the future. I would recommend an online training which would have to be completed to ensure the users understand the conservation and sport fishing laws. My focus in university was Biology and Conservation. I believe individuals should have to be educated before having the right to fish, so creating a video or training portal would be suggested (and may help with new jobs in this trying time).
This is a great activity for families for the summer and can bring them together, in a safe environment while social distancing.
