Background (Preamble):
The Montgomery City Council will vote on May 15th to determine if City residents will be burdened with an additional one cent in sales tax... half from the City and half from the County. This petition is to oppose this proposed tax.
Petition:
We, the people of Montgomery, oppose the proposed increase in sales tax and ask the Montgomery City Council to refrain from raising the sales tax any higher than it already is.
