This petition is to block the makers of the "Lord of the Rings" movies and others in Hollywood from making a motion picture based on the book "The Hobbit." Don't allow another great piece of literature to be trashed by commercialism.
Petition:
We the undersigned urge those involved with the film "The Lord of the Rings" to not destory the book "The Hobbit" in the same fashion they had done with their previous work.
