This petition is to obtain council agreement to place a School Crossing Patrol Officer at the junction/cross roads of New Road, Hillhouses lane and Longedge lane.
This junction is not safe and has a potential to cause incident if it remains unmanned.
This is a bus route, and also a main exit and entrance into and out of the village
On behalf of the parents of Wingerworth who walk their children to school this way and on behalf of the New Road Nursery and Wingerwoth After Schoool Club, we ask you to sing this petition in support of obtaining a crossing officer to allow us to take and collect children from school in absolute safety.
We the undersigned are in full support of the proposal to place a School Crossing Patrol Officer on the main Junction of Hillhouses Lane, New Road and Longedge Lane.
This will allow us to take our children to and from school in safety.
