On July 29, 2003 the annual meeting of the Gatewood Forest Homeowners Association was condcuted. Many concerns were brought forth by community members including the lack of information about association activities and appointments.
The Gatewood Forest Homeowners Association shall meet monthly and will invite community members to meetings on a bi-monthly basis. If a board member leaves the Board and the term of the vacant poition will be concluded within six months the Board will appoint an "Interim" member. If the vacant term is greater than six months than the Board must notify all members and obtain nonimations for the vacant position. An election meeting must be held to elect the new board member. If no nominations are made within 90 days of vacancy announcement the Board will appoint a new member at the election meeting.
