Petition for the Chicago City Council to Pass a Resolution for Full U.S. Withdrawal from Iraq.
*The justifications for the invasion have proved to be false and violated the public trust.
*The war in Iraq has had a negative impact on the U.S. and the City of Chicago. More than 1700 U.S. lives and $200 billion U.S. dollars have been lost in pursuit of non-existent weapons of mass destruction and non-existent ties to 9/11 (9/11 Commission/Weapon Inspectors' Reports) while our nation's cities, schools, roads, industries and constitutional rights have been damaged.

We, the undersigned, request that the Chicago City Council pass a resolution calling for: immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq for the greater security of both the Iraqi and American people.
